ԱՄՆ-ի հետախուզության նոր զեկույցը «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման զինյալների թվաքանակի հնարավոր աճ է կանխատեսում ամբողջ աշխարհում: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով The Daily Beast ինտերնետ-հրատարակությանը, հաշվետվությունը Սպիտակ տան պատվերով պատրաստվել Õ § Կենտրոնական հետախուզական վարչության, ԱՄՆ-ի պաշտպանության նախարարության հետախուզական վարչության, Ազգային անվտանգության գործակալության եւ ամերիկյան հետախուզական այլ վարչությունների աշխատակիցների թիմի կողմից:
«ԻՊ-ի վերաբերյալ ԱՄՆ-ի հետախուզության նոր զեկույցը կանխատեսում է, որ խմբավորումը կտարածվի ամբողջ աշխարհում, իսկ նրա թվաքանակը միայն կաճի այն դեպքում, եթե նա տարածքային զգալի կորուստներ չկրի Իրաքում եւ Սիրիայում մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում»,- հրատարակությունը մեջբերել է ԱՄՆ-ի վարչակազմի ներկայացուցիչների խոսքը:
Նրանց տվյալներով՝ զեկույցում նշվում է, որ ծայրահեղականների տրամադրության տակ «արդեն կա խմբավորումների մի ամբողջ ցանց աշխարհի տասնյակ երկրներում, որոնք հավատարմության երդում են տվել ԻՊ-ին կամ ձգտում են անդամակցել նրան», հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
