Օգոստոսի 22-ին մարտական հենակետը ստուգելու գնացած եւ եղանակային պայմանների պատճառով մոլորված ու Ադրբեջանում հայտնված հայ սպա Գուրգեն Ալավերդյանը Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Մարտունի քաղաքից է:

Ադրբեջանի կողմից երեկ հրապարակված տեսանյութում, հավանաբար սպառնալիքների տակ, Ալավերդյանը հրապարակում է իր ծննդավայրի անունը, բնակության հասցեն…

Նա նաեւ նշում է, թե չի ուզում վերադառնալ հայրենիք: Մարտունիի քաղաքապետ Արմեն Ավետիսյանը, որը ոչ միայն Գուրգեն Ալավերդյանի հարեւանն է, այլ ի պաշտոնե կապ է պահպանում նրա ընտանիքի հետ, այդ հայտարարությանը չի հավատում եւ վստահ է, որ սպան այդպես է արտահայտվում սպառնալիքների տակ:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Ալավերդյանը 2 անչափահաս երեխաներ ունի՝ 2 եւ 6 տարեկան եւ նրան Ադրբեջանում ոչինչ չի կարող պահել:

— Պարոն Ավետիսյան, կապ հաստատե՞լ եք Գուրգեն Ալավերդյանի ընտանիքի հետ, ինչպե՞ս են նրանք, հոգեբանական օգնություն ցուցաբերվո՞ւմ է նրանց:

— Անշուշտ կապը հաստատել ենք, այցելում ենք, մեր զորակցությունն ենք հայտնում, պատրաստակամություն ենք հայտնել օգնել ինչով կարող ենք, բայց բոլորս պետք է հասկանանք, որ իրենք շատ վատ վիճակի մեջ են, մարդիկ սթրես են տանում: Անձամբ ես փորձում եմ մի քիչ շեղել, ինչ-որ մի բան անել, բայց դա դժվար է ե՛ւ կնոջ, ե՛ւ մոր համար ե՛ւ քրոջ համար: Մենք այցելում ենք, մարդկանց հետ զրուցում ենք: Իրենք շատ հպարտ մարդիկ են, ոչ մի բանի կարիք չունեն, նույնիսկ երկար զրուցել չեն ուզում, իրենց տխրությունը լռությամբ են տանում, հասկանում են, որ իրենց տղայի վիճակը շատ ծանր է եւ միակ ասածն այն է, որ Աստծուն աղոթենք, որ մեր տղան վերադառնա:
