Կորոնավիրուսի ճգնաժամից հետո համաշխարհային տնտեսական վերականգնումը կտեւի հինգ տարի: Նման կարծիք հինգշաբթի հայտնել է Համաշխարհային բանկի գլխավոր տնտեսագետ Կարմեն Ռեյնհարթը Մադրիդում կազմակերպված «Միտումներ -2021» ֆորումին տեսակապի միջոցով ելույթի ժամանակ, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
«[Տնտեսության] ամբողջական վերականգնումը կտեւի հինգ տարի»,- մեջբերում է Reuters-ը նրա խոսքերը: Ռեյնհարթն հավելել է, որ համավարակի արդյունքում առաջացած ռեցեսիան որոշ երկրներում ավելի երկար կտեւի, քան մյուսներում, եւ դա կխորացնի անհավասարությունը, քանի որ ամենաաղքատ երկրներն ավելի շատ կտուժեն ճգնաժամից:
Չորեքշաբթի Տնտեսական համագործակցության եւ զարգացման կազմակերպության գլխավոր տնտեսագետ Լորանս Բունը կորոնավիրուսի տարածման պատճառով համաշխարհային տնտեսությանը հասցված վնասը մինչեւ 2021 թվականի վերջը 7 տրիլիոն դոլար էր գնահատել:
