Մեքսիկայում լայնորեն գովազդվող Ազգային վիճակախաղը, որը կառավարությունը կապում էր շքեղ նախագահական ինքնաթիռի հետ, պետք է հանգեցնի 100 միլիոնատիրոջ ի հայտ գալուն:

Մրցանակի ընդհանուր գումարը մոտավորապես արտացոլում է Boeing 787 Dreamliner-ի արժեքը, որը նախագահ Անդրես Մանուել Լոպես Օբրադորը խոստացել էր վաճառել սոցիալական ծրագրերի համար միջոցներ հայթայթելու համար, գրում է NYP-ն:

Մեքսիկան ամեն կերպ փորձում էր պայքարել ինքնաթիռի գնորդ գտնելու համար, եւ վիճակախաղը մտածվել էր որպես միջոցներ հայթայթելու այլընտրանքային միջոց, հատկապես` հանրային առողջապահության ոլորտի համար:

Լոպես Օբրադորը խոստացել է, որ հասույթը կուղղվի հիմնականում պետական ​​հիվանդանոցներին, որոնք քրոնիկորեն չեն ֆինանսավորվում: Իշխանությունները չեն հայտարարում հաղթողների անունները, որոնց թվում կարող են բժշկական կլինիկաներ լինել, որոնց կառավարությունը հարյուրավոր տոմսեր էր տվել:
