ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կարծում է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ունի «երկրագնդում ամենահզոր զենքը», իսկ Ռուսաստանն ու Չինաստանը այդ պատճառով նախանձում են։ Նա նման դիրքորոշում է հայտնել Fox News-ի հետ զրույցում, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Ես 2,5 տրլն դոլար եմ ուղղել ռազմական նպատակներին, քանի որ մեր զինված ուժերը նախկինում սարսափելի վիճակում էին,- ասել է ամերիկացի առաջնորդը։ - Մենք գերազանց զենք ունենք, մենք երկրագնդում ամենահզոր զենքն ունենք, ոչ մեկը ոչ մի նման բան չունի։ Ես վերջերս այս մասին արդեն ասել եմ․ մենք այնքան անհավանական եւ այնքան հզոր զենք ունենք, որ Չինաստանի նախագահ Սի Ցզինպինն ու [Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր] Պուտինը նախանձում են»։

«Մենք վերականգնել ենք մեր զինված ուժերի հզորությունը, եւ դա մեզ անհրաժեշտ է՝ բավական է միայն նայել Չինաստանին ու Ռուսաստանին,- շարունակել է Թրամփը։ - Կարծում եմ, որ հիմա Չինաստանը ներկայացնում է առավել մեծ խնդիր։ Ոմանք ասում են․ «Ռուսաստան, Ռուսաստան․․․»։ Իսկ երբ ես հարցնում եմ Չինաստանի մասին, ապա այդ մասին չեն ցանկանում խոսել»։

Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ իրենից առաջ «ոչ ոք Ռուսաստանի հանդեպ այդպիսի խիստ քաղաքականություն չի վարել»։ «Եվ ես երաշխավորում եմ, որ փակ դռների հետեւում հանդիպումների ժամանակ Պուտինն այդ մասին ասում է իր շրջապատին,- հավելել է նա։ - Բայց եթե հնարավոր է լեզու գտնել Չինաստանի, Ռուսաստանի հետ, ապա դա խնդրի լուծում կլինի»։
