Առնվազն ՍԴ նախագահը ընտրության հարցով այսօր կլինի վերջարդյունք, իսկ թե ինչպիսին կլինի այդ վերջարդյունքը, ենթադրություններ չեմ ուզում անել: Այս մասին, այսօր՝ սեպտեմբերի 25-ին, ՍԴ-ի մոտ լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ՍԴ դատավոր Էդգար Շաթիրյանը:
Հարցին, թե ինչպես է վերաբերվում ՍԴ նախագահի միակ թեկնածու Խունդկարյանին, նա պատասխանեց. «Վերաբերմունքս ցույց կտամ քվեարկությամբ, որը լինելու է գաղտնի»:
Անդրադառնալով Հրայր Թովմասյանի հայտարարությանը, թե ՍԴ նախագահի ընտրության հարցում հնարավոր է՝ կա պայմանավորվածություն, Շաթիրյանն ասաց. «ՍԴ յուրաքանչյուր դատավոր ազատ է արտահայտել իր կարծիքը այս կամ այն հարցի վերաբերյալ: Ես այդպիսի տպավորություն չունեմ»:
Հարցին, թե ՍԴ հին ու նոր կազմերը կարողանո՞ւմ են լեզու գտնել, թե կա բեւեռվածություն, նա արձագանքեց. «Այն, որ տարբեր հարցերի շուրջ մոտեցումները կարող են տարբեր լինել, կարող է լինել բավականին բուռն, թեժ բանավեճ, դա նորմալ է: Բայց այն, ինչ դուք ներկայացրեցիք, ծայրահեղություն է:
Շաթիրյանը նշեց, որ ինքը հարցեր ունի ՍԴ նախագահի միկ թեկնածու Երվանդ Խուդկարյանին. «Որոշ հարցեր ինձ մոտ գրի եմ առել: Ես ունեմ իմ ձեւավորված դիրքորոշումը, եթե չասեմ համոզմունքը այս հարցում: Չեմ ուզենա այս պահին որեւէ մեկին թիրախավորել կամ փակագծեր բացել»:
