Մի քանի օր է՝ ողջ հայությունը բռուցքվել է հայրենիքի շուջ: Արցախա-ադրբեջանական սահմանին շարունակվում են համառ մարտերը: Հայկական բանակի թիկունքում ժողովուրդն է, ամբողջ հայությունը՝ անկախ բնակության վայրից: Միասնական ենք մեկ ընդհանուր գաղափարի, նպատակի շուրջ: Երգահան, հայրենասիրական բազմաթիվ երգերի հեղինակ Գուսան Հայկազունը նշում է՝ արդեն հաղթել ենք, ուղղակի թշնամին պետք է ծնկի գա:

«Պատերազմ է, որն անպայման լինելու էր: Սա անխուսափելի պատերազմ էր: Այն պետք է փառքով տանենք: Մեր տղաներն առյուծի պես կռվում են, մեր ամեն զինվորը հարյուր թուրք զինվոր արժի: Մեր ոգին ուժեղ է: Հայկ Նահապետի ու Տիգրան Մեծի ժառանգներն ենք, առյուծներ, հաղթելու ենք: Ամեն ինչից պարզ է, որ արդեն հաղթել ենք: Բայց պետք է ծնկի բերենք թշնամուն, Ադրբեջանը պետք է չոքի Հայաստանի դեմ: Շատ լավ է, որ մենք չդիմեցինք որևէ մեկին: Ինքներս մեզ պետք է ապացուցենք, որ կարող ենք մեր ուժերով հաղթել: Ես մասնակիցն եմ եղել նաև Արցախյան ազատամարտին: Հպարտանում եմ, որ նման պատրաստակամություն եմ տեսնում բանակ գնացողների, դեպի մահ գնացողների: Հիմա բոլորն ուզում են գնալ մարտի դաշտ: Նման բան երևի աշխարհում չեք տեսնի: Ընդ որում՝ սա անկախության սերունդն է: Այս սերունդը հասկանում է, թե իր գեները որտեղից են գալիս: Ապշելու բան է: Ես նրանց ցավը տանեմ, ես նրանց հոգուն մատաղ: Առյուծներ են: Մենք հաղթելու ենք: Որպես տարբեր երգերի հեղինակ՝ անհամբեր սպասում եմ Գետաշենի և Շահումյանի ազատագրմանը: Ինձ միշտ ասում էին՝ «Գետաշենը» չերգենք, այն մերը չի: Ասում էի՝ այնքան պետք է երգենք, մինչև մեը լինի: Վստահ եմ՝ մինչև Քուռ հասնելու ենք: Բոլորիս հաղթական խաղաղություն եմ մաղթում»,-Past.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Գուսան Հայկազունը:
