Հոկտեմբերի 1-ին կայացել է ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի և Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուի հեռախոսազրույցը:
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` ՌԴ ԱԳՆ տարածած հաղորդագրությունում նշվում է.
«Մանրակրկիտ կերպով քննարկվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի շուրջ լարվածության էսկալացիան: Նախարարները լուրջ մտահոգություն են հայտնել շարունակվող զինված հակամարտության առնչությամբ, կողմ են արտահայտվել ռազմական գործողությունների անհապաղ դադարեցմանը: Շեշտվել է այլ տարածաշրջաններից զինված խմբավորումների ներգրավվածության անթույլատրելիությունը հակամարտությունում: Նշվել է ծայրահեղ հավասարակշռված քայլերի պահանջվածությունը՝ Բաքվին ու Երևանին քաղաքական ու դիվանագիտական աջակցություն հատկացնելու առումով:
Հաստատվել է ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորումը խաղաղ բանակցային գործընթաց վերադարձնելու նպատակով իրավիճակի կայունացման համար Ռուսաստանի և Թուրքիայի գործողությունների սերտ կոորդինացիայի պատրաստակամությունը:
Ռուսական կողմը ուշադրություն է դարձրել ջանքերին, որոնք գործադրվում են ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների կողմից, այդ թվում՝ Ռուսաստանի, ԱՄՆ-ի և Ֆրանսիայի նախագահների համատեղ հայտարարությանը»:
