Այսօր Կիպրոսի մայրաքաղաք Նիկոսիայում երթ է անցկացվել՝ ի պաշտպանություն Արցախի և Հայաստանի: Երթը մեկնարկել է Ռուսաստանի և ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպանատների առաջ, որոնք նույն տարածքում են գտնվում: Այնուհետև երթի մասնակիցներն անցել են նաև Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանատան մոտով: Տեղի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչները, ռուսները, կիպրացի հույները, պոնտոսցի հույները միասին իրենց բողոքի ձայնն են բարձրացրել Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի գործողությունների դեմ: Past.am-ին այս մասին հայտնեց տեղի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչ Անժելիկա Ազադյանցը:

Նա նշեց, որ երթին ներկա է եղել նաև Կիպրոսի խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Վարդգես Մաղդեսյանը, որն իր գնահատանքի խոսքն է ուղղել կիպրացիներին ու ներկաներին այս կարևոր պահին իրենց աջակցությունն ու համերաշխությունը հայտնելու համար: 

«Ինչպես դուք գիտեք, մենք լավագույն ժամանակները չէ, որ ապրում ենք: Ու մենք շնորհակալ ենք Հունաստանին և Կիպրոսին աջակցության համար: Ես հուսով եմ, որ այդ օրինակին աշխարհի այլ երկրներ ևս կհետևեն: Հաջորդ անգամ մենք կհավաքվենք հաղթանակը տոնելու համար, ինչում ես համոզված եմ: Ոչ ոք չի կարող ոտնձգություն կատարել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Արցախի նկատմամբ», -պատգամավորի խոսքերը փոխանցեց Անժելիկա Ազադյանցը:

Նա նշեց, որ երթի մասնակիցները պահել են Հայաստանի, Արցախի և Կիպրոսի դրոշները, ինչպես նաև պաստառներ՝ «Փառք և պատիվ մեր հերոսներին», «Artsakh Strong», «Stop Erdogan, Stop Aliyev» գրություններով:

«Երթի մասնակիցները վանկարկել են նաև «թուրքերն ու ադրբեջանցիները մարդասպաններ են», «թուրքեր, դո՛ւրս Կիպրոսից, դո՛ւրս Հայաստանից»: Բացի այդ, Վարդգես Մաղդեսյանը Ռուսաստանի, ԱՄՆ-ի և Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանատների ներկայացուցիչներին է հանձնել նամակ, որում կոչ է արվում միջամտել և կասեցնել ադրբեջանա-թուրքական ագրեսիան Հարավային Կովկասում»,-հայտնեց հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչը:
