Ադրբեջանի նախագահի աշխատակազմի արտաքին քաղաքական բաժնի վարիչի և ԱԳՆ խոսնակի մակարդակով հայտարարված՝ ադրբեջանա-ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության գոտում Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիայի հետևանքով ստեղծված իրադրությունը լուսաբանող լրագրողներին ուղղված բացահայտ սպառնալիքներից հետո ադրբեջանական բանակը անցել է հստակ գործողությունների՝ թիրախավորելով տեղական, հայաստանյան և միջազգային լրագրողական խմբերին։ Այս մասին հայտարարություն է տարածել Արցախի հանրապետության ԱԳՆ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունը:

Ըստ ունեցած տվյալների՝ Ադրբեջանի կողմից ձևավորվել են հատուկ խմբեր, ում առաջադրանք է տրված՝ հետևել լրագրողների շարժին, թիրախավորել և հնարավորինս շատ վնաս հասցնել մարտական գործողությունները լուսաբանող լրագրողներին։ Լրագրողական խմբերին թիրախային հարվածներ հասցնելու համար հակառակորդը կողմնորոշվում է լրագրողների՝ ռազմական գործողությունները հեռարձակվող տեսանյութերով և ուղիղ եթերներով։

Միևնույն ժամանակ հարկ ենք համարում նշել, որ տեղում աշխատող լրագրողներն ունեն համապատասխան «PRESS» տարբերանշաններով վերնազգեստ, իսկ նրանց տեղափոխող մեքենաներին ամրացված է նույն նշանը։ Ավելին՝ լրագրողները թիրախավորվել են այն ժամանակ, երբ իրենց մասնագիտական գործունեությունն իրականացնում էին քաղաքացիական բնակավայրերում, այլ ոչ թե մարտական գործողությունների թեժ կետերում։

Հաշվի առնելով ստեղծված իրավիճակը, լրագրողների, այդ թվում՝ նաև օտարերկրյա քաղաքացիների, ֆիզիկական անվտանգությունը և կյանքի իրական ուղիղ սպառնալիքը՝ որոշում է կայացվել վերջիններիս ժամանակավոր տեղափոխել տեղեկատվական նոր կենտրոն, որը գտնվում է ապահով վայրում։
