Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտնել է, որ իր տեղեկություններով այս պահին դրվում է ղարաբաղյան բանակի վերջնական հաղթանակի իրական հիմքը: Այս մասին վարչապետն ասել է РБК –ին տված հարցազրույցում:

«Եթե հաշվի առնենք այն տեղեկատվությունը, որն ստացվում է այսօր վաղ առավոտից, կարող ենք ասել, որ ղարաբաղցի զորահրամանատարների մտահղացումն իրագործվել է․ նրանք հարավում մարտավարական քայլեր են ձեռնարկել՝ միջանցք են թողել և այնտեղ ծուղակի մեջ գցել Ադրբեջանի ռազմական կորպուսը։ Բառացիորեն այս վայրկյաններին այդ կորպուսն ստանում է ջախջախիչ հարվածներ։ Եվ ես կարծում եմ, որ սա կլինի ողջ գործողության առանցքային կետը։ Այս պահին, իմ տեղեկություններով, դրվում է ղարաբաղյան բանակի վերջնական հաղթանակի իրական հիմքը»։

Նա հավելել է, որ զորահրամանատարները ծրագիր ունեին՝ հետ քաշվել Ջաբրայիլի ուղղությամբ և այնտեղ ներքաշել ադրբեջանական բանակի մեծ ուժեր։ «Երեկ երեկոյան նրանք այնտեղ են մտել մեծ, շատ մեծ ուժերով, և այսօր առավոտից նրանց ջախջախիչ հարված է հասցվում, գործողությունը չափազանց հաջող է ընթանում:

Լրագրողի հարցին՝ հնարավո՞ր է արդյոք ռազմական գործողությունների ընդլայնում Ադրբեջանի տարածքում, վարչապետը պատասխանել է. «Եթե այսօրվա գործողությունն ավարտվի այնպես, ինչպես սկսվել է, իսկ ես կարծում եմ, որ դա շատ հավանական է, քանի որ Ղարաբաղի բանակը նման հաջողությունից հետո պարզապես չի նստի և սպասի ադրբեջանական ուժերի վերախմբավորմանը։ Եվ ես կարծում եմ, որ եթե այսօր նրանց մոտ ստացվի, նրանք կփորձեն զարգացնել հաջողությունը»։
