Ամերիկյան The Wall Street Journal պարբերականը պնդում է, որ Թուրքիայի հետ կապված հարյուրավոր գրոհայիններ Սիրիայից տեղափոխվել են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության գոտի։

Հոդվածում նշվում է, որ «Թուրքիայի հետ միություն կազմած սիրիական զինված խմբավորումների հարյուրավոր անդամներ մասնակցել են Ադրբեջանի եւ Հայաստանի միջեւ ընթացող մարտերին»։ Պարբերականի տեղեկություններով՝ «եւս հարյուրավորները պատրաստվում են ուղարկվելուն»։ Հոդվածում նշվում է, որ այս տեղեկությունը հաստատել են Սիրիայում պարբերականի երկու աղբյուրներ, որոնք կապ ունեն գրոհայինների տեղափոխման հետ։

Պարբերականի աղբյուրների վարկածով՝ հուլիսից «սիրիական խռովարար խմբավորումների շարքերում սկսել է տեղեկություն տարածվել այն մասին, որ Թուրքիան մարտիկների է հավաքագրում ռազմական գործողությունների մասնակցելու համար»։ Պարբերականի տեղեկություններով՝ սեպտեմբերի կեսից սկսվել է Սիրիայից գրոհայինների տեղափոխումը հակամարտության գոտի՝ «ամեն անգամ մինչեւ 100 մարդ թվաքանակով խմբերով»։ Սիրիայում պարբերականի աղբյուրը, որը կապ ունի զինված խմբավորումների հետ, նշել է, որ տեղափոխվել են հարյուրավոր մարդիկ, սակայն «տասնյակներն արդեն վերադարձել են՝ մարտերի արյունահեղությունից տագնապահար»։

Հոդվածում ներկայացվում է Սիրիայից խռովարարի խոսքը, ըստ որի՝ Սիրիայից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ ուղարկված գրոհայինները ստանում են ամսական մինչեւ 2 հազար դոլար աշխատավարձ։ Ըստ մեկ այլ աղբյուրի՝ «Սիրիայից տեղափոխված մարտիկների շարքերում կորուստներն արագ աճում են»։ Նա նշել է, որ «մոտ 200-ն արդեն խնդրել է իրենց հետ վերադարձնել»։

Հրապարակման մեջ նշվում է, որ Թուրքիան Ադրբեջանում երկու շաբաթ տեւողությամբ զորավարժանքներ է կազմակերպել եւ «Ադրբեջանի իշխանություններին տրամադրել է հարվածային անօդաչուներ»։ Պարբերականը նշում է, որ ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկություններով՝ Թուրքիան ավելի վաղ կազմակերպել էր Սիրիայից Լիբիա շուրջ 5 հազար գրոհայինների տեղափոխումը։ «Լիբիա կամ Ադրբեջան տեղափոխումը նորմալ երեւույթ է դարձել»,- ասել է Սիրիայում պարբերականի աղբյուրը։ «Մարդկանց համար արդեն միեւնույնն է, թե ինչի համար կամ ում դեմ են պատերազմելու, նրանք հիմա հարցնում են միայն փողի մասին։ Նրանք կգնան այնտեղ, որտեղ փող կա»,- հավելել է նա։
