Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերը Սիրայից բերված վարձկաններին օգտագործում են որպես կենդանի վահան։ Այս մասին Twitter-ի իր էջում գրել է անկախ լրագրող Լինդսի Սնելը, որը մասնագիտացած է հակամարտությունների և հումանիտար ճգնաժամերի լուսաբանման ոլորտում։
«Ադրբեջանական բանակն այնտեղ էր, բայց նրանք չէին կռվում, նրանք սիրիացիներից 200 մետր հեռավորության վրա էին»,- լրագրողը մեջբերել է Ադրբեջանից վերջերս վերադարձած վարձկանի խոսքը՝ կից ներկայացնելով նրա հետ հարցազրույցից ձայնագրություններ։
Վարձականի խոսքով՝ Սիրիայից ժամանած և Ադրբեջանի բանակում կռվող գրոհայինները սկսել են զոհվել պատերազմի հենց առաջին օրը։
«Ամեն օր 5-10 հոգի, նույնիսկ ավելին։ Մի մարտում դիպուկահարների պատճառով կորցրինք 28-ին, նրանք լավ պատրաստված են»,- լրագրողին ասել է վարձկանը։
Նա նաև նշել է, որ ի սկզբանե Ադրբեջան են մեկնել «թուրքերի հետ նավթահորերի անտանգությունը պահպանելու համար»։
Ավելի վաղ լրագրող Լինդսի Սնելը ներկայացրել էր վարձկանների հետ զրույցից այլ ուշագրավ մանրամասներ՝ նշելով, որ Սիրիացի գրոհայինները սարսափած են հայ դիպուկահարներից։
«Ես և իմ զարմիկները կռվել ենք նաև Սիրիայում, սակայն նման բան չենք տեսել»,- լրագրողին հայտնել էր վարձկանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության գոտում մարտերից մեկի ընթացքում իրենց 45 հոգանոց խումբը ոչ մեծ բարձրության վրա հայ դիպուկահարի կրակի տակ է հայտնվել։
«Հայ դիպուկահարը սպանեց «Սուլթան Մուրադ» դիվիզիայի 8 և «Համզա»-ի երկու մարտիկների: Նման դիպուկահարների մենք միայն ֆիլմերում ենք տեսել», - ասել էր նա։
