Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևն արդեն մի քանի օր է՝ դուրս է իր երկրի տարածքից՝ նախընտրելով գտնվել թուրքական Անթալիայի շրջանում իր պալատներից մեկում՝ Բաքվում հայտնվելով միայն ճեպազրույցների և «ազգին դիմելու» ժամանակ, գրում է Волна Каспия թերթը՝ հղում անելով իր աղբյուրներին։

Աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ՝ «ադրբեջանցի բռնապետի նման անսպասելի պահվածքը կապված է իր իշխանության և կյանքի համար մտավախությունների հետ՝ ամբողջ Ադրբեջանում գնալով ուժգնացող հակապատերազմական տրամադրությունների պատճառով։ Այդ հուզումների պատճառ են դարձել Ղարաբաղում ադրբեջանական բանակի անհաջողությունները՝ չնայած տարածաշրջանի արագ «ազատագրման» խոստումներին, այս պահին Ադրբեջանի ԶՈւ մի մասը շրջապատված է Զանգելանի շրջանում, իսկ մյուսը սրընթաց նահանջում է դեպի արևելք»։

Ինչպես փոխանցում է աղբյուրը, ադրբեջանական ղեկավարությունը փորձում էր իր բնակչությանը զերծ պահել մարտական գործողությունների գոտուց ճշմարիտ տեղեկատվությունից և հիմնականում դա արվում էր երկրի ամբողջ տարածքում սոցիալական ցանցերի անջատման և լրագրողների աշխատանքը խոչընդոտելու միջոցով:

«Ռազմաճակատից ստացվում էին միայն այնպիսի տեղեկությունները, որոնք ձեռնտու էին Ալիևին։ Սակայն դա երկար շարունակվել չէր կարող. Ղարաբաղից երբեմն վերադառնում էին վիրավոր զինծառայողները, հաճախ դասալիքները, որոնք պատմում էին և՛ ադրբեջանական բանակի պարտությունների, և՛ նրա շարքերում ահռելի կորուստների, և՛ երկրի ղեկավարության ու զինված ուժերի առջև դրված մարտական խնդիրների հասնելու անհնարինության մասին»,- գրում է թերթը։

Հաղորդվում է, որ ամբողջ երկրում մեծ վրդովմունք է հասունանում, որը, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կսկսվի Ադրբեջանի բնիկ ժողովուրդների բնակության շրջաններում, բայց հետո անպայման կանդրադառնա նաև Բաքվի վրա:

«Ավելին, Ալիևի պատերազմով ու քաղաքականությամբ դժգոհությունն ի հայտ է գալիս նաև ադրբեջանական քաղաքական վերնախավի շրջանում»,- նշում է թերթը՝ հավելելով, որ  կանխազգալով ոչ այնքան բացահայտ, բայց միանգամայն իրական վտանգ իր իշխանության, ազատության և կյանքի համար վերջինս որոշել է մեկնել բարեկամ Թուրքիա, որտեղից քաջալերում է ադրբեջանցի զինվորներին և ադրբեջանցի ժողովրդին ուղղված բարոյական ուղերձներ գրում։

«Դրա համար էլ յուրաքանչյուր ադրբեջանցի զինվորական, որը Ղարաբաղում մարտի է գնում և մտածում է, թե ինքը կռվում է երկրի ու նախագահի համար, պետք է հասկանա, որ ոչ մի նախագահ իր թիկունքում հիմա չկա, նա արտերկրում վայելում է տաք եղանակը, ծովն ու գեղեցիկ տեսարանները։ Զարմանալի չէ, որ նա թքած ունի ադրբեջանական բանակի հսկայական կորուստների վրա» ,- գրում է թերթը՝ հավելելով, որ  Ադրբեջանի նախագահի համար միակ առաջնահերթությունը, իր անձնական բարեկեցությունից բացի, իր իշխանությանն ատամներով կառչած մնալն է։
