Սիրելի ՛ հայրենակիցներ
Մենուան ընկերների հետ Արցախ էր եկել իր մեծ երազանքի հետևից՝ հող հայրենին պաշտպանելու և նրա հարատև գոյությունն ապահովելու համար: Նրա հետ ծանոթացա պատահական, առաջնագծում: Շփումը կարճ էր, ընդամենը մեկ օր, բայց շատ տպավորիչ: Նրա համարձակ պահվածքը, լուսավոր ու պայծառ մտքերն անմիջապես գրավեցին իմ ուշադրությունը: Անգամ հասցրեցինք խոսել հաղթանակից հետո անելիքների մասին: Բայց ծրագրերն անկատար մնացին…
Կարին Տոնոյանի որդուն ինձ համար բացահայտեցի` որպես իսկական հայ ասպետի, որի կատարած հերոսական քայլը կանխատեսելի էր մարտի մեկնելու պահից: Անմահացավ` հանուն իր երկու անչափահաս բալիկների և հանուն մեր ժողովրդի հպարտ ու արժանապատիվ ապագայի…
Վշտակցում եմ նրա ընտանիքին և բոլոր հարազատներին:
Մարտադաշտում նրա կատարած սխրագործությանը Հայրենիքն արժանի գնահատական է տալիս. Մենուա Հովհաննիսյանն իմ հրամանագրով արժանացել է «Արցախի հերոս» բարձրագույն կոչմանը:
