ՀՀ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

«Երեկ և այսօր հրապարակվեցին օբյեկտիվ բնույթի ապացույցներ այն մասին, որ Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերը Արցախում կիրառում են զանգվածային ոչնչացման, քիմիական տարրեր պարունակող զինատեսակ:

Այդ պահին հրապարակվեցին տվյալներ, որ խոսքը գնում է ֆոսֆոր պարունակող զինատեսակի մասին: Դրանից հետո եղան մի շարք հրապարակումներ այն մասին, որ խոսքը կարող է գնալ այլ քիմիական նյութեր պարունակող զանգվածային ոչնչացման զինատեսակի մասին:

Ցանկացած պարագայում պետք է արձանագրել առնվազն հետևյալը.

1) կիրառվում է զանգվածային ոչնչացման զինատեսակ,

2) այն պարունակում է քիմիական տարրեր,

3) զինատեսակը կիրառվում է անտառների նկատմամբ և առաջացնում է զանգվածային հրդեհներ ու ավերածություններ,

4)այս զինատեսակի առաջացրած հրդեհը չի մարում անգամ այն մարող նյութերով կամ ջրով՝ ըստ մասնագիտական գնահատականների,

5) անտառները, որոնց նկատմամբ կիրառվել են այս նյութերը, գտնվում են քաղաքացիական բնակավայրերի հարևանությամբ (այս պահի տվյալներով՝ Շուշիի, Մարտակերտի, Ասկերանի շրջաններ),

6) ըստ փաստահավաք աշխատանքների՝ անտառներում ադրբեջանական զինված հարձակումներից պատսպարվում են նաև խաղաղ բնակիչներ:

Այս զինատեսակի օգտագործումը ու այն էլ նման պայմաններով արգելված է միջազգային իրավունքով:

Հայաստանի ու Արցախի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանների աշխատակազմերում ներկայում իրականացվում են համատեղ ուսումնասիրություններ, որի արդյունքները կհրապարակվեն և կուղարկվեն միջազգային մարմիններին՝ ըստ իրավասության»:
