Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն Բելառուսական ատոմային էլեկտրակայանի գործարկումը երկրի կյանքում պատմական իրադարձություն է անվանել։ Պետության ղեկավարն այսպիսի հայտարարություն է կատարել այսօր ԲելԱԷԿ այցելության ժամանակ, փոխանցում է ԲԵԼՏԱ-ն։

Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն կայանի տարածքը նախնական զննել է ուղղաթիռից։ «Ես այնպես եմ հասկանում, որ շինարարական եւ սպսարկող հրապարակի մակերեսն ավելի՞ մեծ է, քան բուն կայանի։ Ես ուղղաթիռից նայեցի՝ գրեթե 2 անգամ»,- նշել է Բելառուսի նախագահը։ Էներգետիկայի նախարար Վիկտոր Կարանկեւիչը նշել է, որ ավելի քան 100 հա մակերեսով տարածքում կառուցված են 130 տարբեր շենքեր ու կառույցներ։ «Առաջին էներգաբլոկի գործարկումով շահագործման կհանձնվի 88 օբյեկտ, իսկ երկրորդի գործարկման ժամանակ`42»,- պարզաբանել է նա։

Բելառուսի նախագահին ԲելԱԷԿ-ի ուսումնամարզական կենտրոնում զեկուցել են կայանի շահագործման հանձնելու եւ երկրի տնտեսությանը դրա ինտեգրման աշխատանքների մասին։

«Ամեն ինչ այնքան սովորական է՝ կարծես, մետրո են կառուցել։ Պատմական պահ է՝ երկիրը դառնում է միջուկային տերություն»,- ասել է Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն։

Վիկտոր Կարանկեւիչի խոսքով՝ ամեն տարի ԲելԱԷԿ-ում արտադրվելու է շուրջ 18 մլրդ կՎտ/ժ։ Ատոմային կայանի գործարկումը թույլ կտա փոխարինել տարեկան մոտ 4,5 մլրդ խորանարդ մետր բնական գազ։ Բյուջեի վրա արժութային բեռը  կնվազի ավելի քան 500 մլն դոլարով։ Ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումները կնվազեն տարեկան ավելի քան 7 մլն տոննայով։ «Կայանի շահագործման ժամկետը 60 տարի է՝ մինչեւ 100 տարի երկարացնելու հնարավորությամբ»,- հավելել է բելառուս նախարարը։ ԲելԱԷԿ-ում ընդհանուր աշխատելու է 2,5 հազարից ավելի մարդ, որոնցից մոտ 60-ը ատոմային կայաններում աշխատանքի փորձով մասնագետներ են Ռուսաստանից եւ Ուկրաինայից։
