Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի հայտարարությունը
Մամուլից տեղեկացա, որ Ռուսաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հետ ստորագրվել է ղարաբաղյան պատերազմը դադարեցնելու մասին հայտարարություն։ Մամուլից տեղեկացել եմ նաև պատերազմի դադարեցման պայմանների մասին։
Որպես Հանրապետության նախագահ այս փաստաթղթի վերաբերյալ ինձ հետ որևէ խորհրդակցություն կամ քննարկում, ցավոք, չի եղել, որևէ բանակցության չեմ մասնակցել։
Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորումը համազգային նշանակության և կարևորության հարց է։ Հայաստանի, Արցախի, ողջ հայ ժողովրդի կենսական անվտանգային շահերին և իրավունքներին առնչվող ցանկացած քայլ, գործողություն, ցանկացած որոշման ընդունում, առավել ևս որևէ փաստաթղթի ստորագրում պետք է լինի համապարփակ խորհրդակցությունների և քննարկումների առարկա։
Ընդգծում եմ, որ Արցախի, հետևաբար՝ հայ ժողովրդի ճակատագիրը կարող է լուծվել միմիայն հաշվի առնելով մեր համազգային շահերն ու միմիայն համազգային կոնսենսուսի հիման վրա։
Հաշվի առնելով առկա իրավիճակով պայմանավորված՝ ժողովրդի ստվար զանգվածի խոր մտահոգություններն, անհապաղ նախաձեռնում եմ քաղաքական խորհրդակցություններ՝ համազգային շահերի պաշտպանության մեր օրակարգից բխող լուծումներն ամենակարճ ժամկետներում համաձայնեցնելու նպատակով։
Որպես Հանրապետության նախագահ, ազգապահպանության կարևորագույն այս պահին համազգային միասնության ձևավորումը համարում եմ իմ այժմեական առաքելությունը։ Հուսով եմ, որ տասնօրյա ժամկետում բոլորիս կհաջողվի ձևավորել այդպիսի միասնություն, որի պարագայում ես կհամարեմ, որ օգտագործել եմ հայրենիքիս ծառայելու հնարավորությունները։
