Չավուշօղլուն վիրավորվել է, որ Պոմպեոն այցելում է ոչ թե Անկարա, այլ Ստամբուլ

Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուն որոշել է չհանդիպել տարածաշրջանային այց ծրագրած ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոյի հետ: Պաշտոնական Անկարան Պոմպեոյի այցի մանրամասները և դրա նպատակը համարում է վիրավորանք. Պոմպեոն ժամանելու է Ստամբուլ, այլ ոչ թե Անկարա: Թուրքական լրատվամիջոցները, մասնավորապես, նշում են, որ թուրք պաշտոնյաները համոզված են՝ Չավուշօղլուն կհանդիպի Պոմպեոյի հետ, եթե նա պաշտոնական այցով ժամանի Թուրքիայի մայրաքաղաք Անկարա:
Թուրքիայի համար Պոմպեոյի այցը եղել է սպասված, քանի որ նա քանիցս եղել է տարածաշրջանում, սակայն Թուրքիան չի ներառել երկրների իր ցուցակում: Սակայն այս այցը Թուրքիան չի համարում իր սպասելիքների իրականացում, քանի որ Պոմպեոն «այցելում է Թուրքիա ոչ թե թուրքական իշխանությունների հետ հանդիպելու և տարածաշրջանային խնդիրները քննարկելու համար, այլ Բարդուղիմեոս Առաջինի հետ կրոնական խնդիրները քննարկելու համար»:
Ինչպես հայտնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, թուրքական մամուլը սա համարում է քայլ՝ ի պատասխան Ստամբուլում Սուրբ Սոֆիայի տաճարը մզկիթ դարձնելուն:
ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոն նոյեմբերի 13-23-ը պաշտոնական այցերով կմեկնի Ֆրանսիա, Թուրքիա, Վրաստան, Իսրայել, Արաբական Էմիրություններ, Կատար, Սաուդյան Արաբիա: Այս մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությունը նոյեմբերի 10-ին: Խոսելով Թուրքիա կայանալիք այցի մասին՝ ԱՄՆ-ը հայտարարել է, որ Պոմպեոն կժամանի Ստամբուլ, որպեսզի հանդիպի Պոլսո Հունաց Տիեզերական Պատրիարք Բարդուղիմեոս Առաջինի հետ՝ քննարկելու Թուրքիայում առկա կրոնական խնդիրները: «Պոմպեոյի նպատակն է ամբողջ աշխարհում նպաստել կրոնական ազատությանը»,- հայտնում է ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտը:
