Եղբայրներ, ցավոք ես ստիպված եմ խոստովանել, որ ամեն ինչ չէ մեր ուժերից կախված։ Մենք այստեղ էինք՝ թողած մեր ընտանիքներին, մեր հարազատներին և մոտիկներին։ Այնքան մարդ մահացավ։ Այնքան երիտասարդներ մահացան, որոնք այս կյանքում դեռ շատ բան կհասցնեին։ Իրենց համար, իրենց ընտանիքի և ազգի համար հազարավոր երիտասարդներ հաշմանդամ դարձան։ Եվ այս ամենը արվել է մեր հայրենիքի համար, և ոչ-ոք չի կարող ասել, որ այդ ամենը անիմաստ է արվել։ Բայց ցավոք, ոչ ամեն բան ենք մենք որոշում։ Մենք հայտնվել էինք ներկայացման մեջ, ինչ-որ կինոյի մեջ, որտեղ ռեժիսորները դիմակներով մարդիկ էին։ Մենք չենք նահանջել։ Մեր փոխարեն ամեն բան որոշել են։ Ես բողոքներ չունեմ Արցախի իշխանության և Արայիկ Հարությունյանի նկատմամբ, նրանք այստեղ են եղել և փորձել են անել հնարավոր ամեն բան։ Ես պատերազմի կողմնակից չեմ, բայց մեզ զրկել են մեր հողերը մինչև վերջ պաշտպանելու իրավունքից։ Ավելի ահավոր ոչինչ չի կարող լինել։ Իմ ժողովուրդը անհաղթելի է։ Բոլորն են տեսել, թե ինչ ա կատարվել, և՛ նրանք, ովքեր այստեղ էին, և՛ նրանք, ովքեր փախել են ռամզի դաշտից։ Ես դերասան չեմ և չեմ խաղա այս կառավարական խաղերը։ Մինչ նոր հանդիպում, իմ հզոր հայ ժողովուրդ՝ ամրապնդվիր։ Ես միշտ եղել եմ ձեզ հետ, կամ ու կլինեմ։
