Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, եթե ամոթ ու թասիբ ունենար մեկ օր առաջ ներողություն կխնդրեր հայ ժողովրդից եւ կթողներ իր պաշտոնը, որովհետեւ պարտված առաջնորդը չի կարող մնալ առաջնորդ։ Այս մասին  այսօր՝ նոյեմբերի 18-ին, Ազատության հրապարակում տեղի ունեցած հանրահավաքից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց «Հայրենիք» կուսակցության նախագահ, ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրեն Արթուր Վանեցյանը։

«Ցավոք, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հեռանալու մտադրություն չունի, դրա համար հանրային ճնշման արդյունքում մենք կհասնենք նրան, որ Փաշինյանը կգնա»,- ասաց նա՝ հավելելով, որ հետագա անելիքների մասին առաջիկա օրերին կհայտարարեն։

Արթուր Վանեցյանը լրագրողի հարցին ի պատասխան նշեց, որ արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների անցկացման պարագայում «Հայրենիք» կուսակցությունը մասնակցելու է։

Հարցին, թե ազգային համաձայնության կառավարության ստեղծման պարագայում դրա կազմում ինքը կընդգրկվի՞, Արթուր Վանեցյանն ասաց, որ թե ինչ տեղ կամ դեր կստանձնի՝ դա կորոշի առաջին հերթին ժողովուրդը, ապա Փաշինյանի հրաժարականը պահանջող քաղաքական ուժերը։ Վանեցյանը շեշտում է՝ պաշտոն զբաղեցնելը կամ իշխանության գալը ինքնանպատակ չէ։

Թե ո՞վ կլինի Ազգային համաձայնության Կառավարության ղեկավարը, Արթուր Վանեցյանն ընդգծում է, որ այդ մարդը լինելու է բոլորի կողմից հնարավորինս ընդունված։

Զարգացումներից կախված քաղաքական ուժերը կհայտարարեն նրա անունը։ Վանեցյանը վստահեցնում է, որ շատ հեռու չէ այդ օրը, երբ կհրապարակվի նրա անունը։

«Ես մի քան կարող եմ ասել, որ հնարավոր վարչապետի թեկնածուի համար կարող է առաջադրվել մի քանի անձ, որոնց մեջ էլ կլինի ընտրությունը»,- ասաց նա։

Լրագրողի հարցին, թե ՌԴ նախագահն ասել է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը դավաճան չէ, դա արդյո՞ք չի նշանակում, որ Մոսկվան դեմ է նրա հրաժարականին, Արթուր Վանեցյանն ասաց․

«Չեմ կարծում, որ Մոսկվան խառնվում է կամ ցանկություն ունի խառնվելու ՀՀ ներքին գործերին։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հրաժարականի հարցը պետք է լուծվի բացառապես ՀՀ քաղաքական ուժերի կողմից»։
