ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ցավակցական հեռագիր է հղել Գրիգորյանների ընտանիքին՝ ԵԿՄ նախկին նախագահ, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Մանվել Գրիգորյանի մահվան կապակցությամբ: Այդ մասին հայտնում են Սերժ Սարգսյանի գրասենյակից:
Ցավակցական հեռագրում մասնավորապես ասված է.
«Խոր ցավով տեղեկացա Երկրապահ կամավորականների միության նախկին նախագահ, Արցախի հերոս, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Մանվել Գրիգորյանի մահվան մասին, ում անունը, ինչպես իմ բազմաթիվ մարտական ընկերների անունները, անխզելիորեն կապված է Արցախյան ազատամարտի հերոսական բազում դրվագների, Արցախի սուրբ հողի ազատագրման և պաշտպանության հետ:
Մեր ազատագրական պայքարի երախտավորներից մեկի՝ Մանվել Գրիգորյանի նկատմամբ վերջին երկուսուկես տարիներին գործող իշխանությունների անմարդկային և զազրելի վերաբերմունքը, անբարո միջոցներով հետևողական, նպատակադրված վարկաբեկումը, ցավոք, անհետևանք չեղավ նրա առողջության համար:
Արցախի հերոսը կյանքից հեռացավ՝ տեսնելով նաև իր գործուն մասնակցությամբ ազատագրված հողերը թշնամուն հանձնված, նորօրյա մեր բազմաթիվ հերոս տղաների նահատակությունը, որոնց համար սգում ենք բոլորս, և դա ևս մեծ հարված էր Մանվելի համար:
