Նոյեմբերի 21-ին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունում տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանի և աշխատանքային այցով Հայաստան ժամանած ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարար, բանակի գեներալ Սերգեյ Շոյգուի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունների հանդիպումը` ընդլայնված կազմով:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը, առաջիկա անելիքները և հայ-ռուսական ռազմական համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցերի լայն շրջանակ:
Բանակի գեներալ Սերգեյ Շոյգուն շնորհավորել է Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի պաշտոնն ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ:
Կողմերը բարձր են գնահատել Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության դերն ու ջանքերը՝ ուղղված տարածաշրջանում ռազմաքաղաքական իրավիճակի կայունացմանը, ինչպես նաև Արցախում իրականացվող ՌԴ խաղաղապահ առաքելության ընթացքն ու արդյունավետությունը՝ համաձայն Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև ս.թ. նոյեմբերի 10-ին ստորագրված հայտարարության: ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարարն իրազեկել է այս ուղղությամբ արդեն իսկ կատարված աշխատանքների և առաջիկա ծրագրերի մասին:
Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարները կարևորել են զոհված զինծառայողների, գերիների, պատանդների և անհայտ կորածների հայտնաբերման և փոխանակման աշխատանքները, ինչպես նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի տարածքում ստեղծված ՌԴ միջգերատեսչական հումանիտար կենտրոնի աշխատանքը, որն ուղղված է փախստականների վերադարձի, քաղաքացիական ենթակառուցվածքների վերականգնման, զոհված, գերեվարված և անհայտ կորած անձանց որոնողական աշխատանքների և հումանիտար ոլորտում տարբեր կազմակերպությունների գործունեության համադրման հարցերին:
