Հունական Greek City Times պարբերականն անդրադարձել է արցախյան վերջին պատերազմին և նշել, որ Արցախում Հայաստանի անհաջողության հիմնական պատճառը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ռազմական և աշխարհաքաղաքական անկարողությունն է:

Հոդվածագիր Փոլ Անտոնոպուլոսը մասնավորապես նշում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայերի և ադրբեջանցիների պայքարն անվանել էր «գոյության կռիվ»: Այնուամենայնիվ, Երևանն այդպես էլ իր ամբողջ ուժերով չի մասնակցել մարտական գործողություններին: Դրա մասին են վկայում գեներալ-գնդապետ Մովսես Հակոբյանի լիարժեք վկայությունները, որոնք ցույց են տալիս, որ Հայաստանը շատ քիչ ջանքեր է ներդրել «գոյության կռվում»:

«Մոբիլիզացիան մինչև կամավորական ջոկատների մակարդակ իջեցնելու պատճառով շուրջ 200 000 ակտիվ պահեստազորայիններ այդպես էլ չեն մասնակցել պատերազմին: Փաստացիորեն, չնայած նրան, որ կառավարությունն ու զինվորականները հայկական սփյուռքին կոչ էին անում կռվել Ղարաբաղում, համենայն դեպս, Հունաստանում պարզ է դարձել, որ կամավորներին ցուցակագրել են և նրանց օգնությանը կդիմեն միայն ըստ իրավիճակի պահանջի: Փաշինյանը պաշտպանում էր խիստ վիճահարույց հրադադարի անհրաժեշտությունը ՝ պնդելով, որ Արցախը չունի բավարար ուժեր՝ ադրբեջանական զինուժի դեմ պաշտպանվելու համար, բայց Հայաստանը նույնիսկ մոտ չի եղել առկա բոլոր ռեսուրսներն օգտագործելուն:

Հարց է առաջանում, թե ինչու պետք է Երևանն անհանգստանար Հունաստանի համար պոտենցիալ դիվանագիտական խնդիրներ առաջացնելով, երբ Արցախը լքվել էր Արևմուտքի կողմից, երբ Հայաստանը պետք է օգտագործեր օգնության ցանկացած առաջարկ՝ հաշվի առնելով նաև այն, որ Թուրքիան ակտիվորեն օգնում էր Ադրբեջանին: Դրա փոխարեն կամավորներին տեղափոխել էին սպասման ռեժիմ, «Իսկանդերները» շատ քիչ էին օգտագործվում, իսկ ՀՕՊ համակարգերը գրեթե չեն մասնակցել պատերազմին»,-գրում է հեղինակը:

Վերջինս այն կարծիքին է, որ չնայած Փաշինյանի և նրա վարչակազմի բոլոր ռազմական սխալներին՝ ամենամեծ սխալը Հայաստանը ԵՄ-ի և ՆԱՏՕ-ի կողմ թեքելու նրա փորձն էր: Փաշինյանը իշխանության է եկել այսպես կոչված «թավշյա հեղափոխության» շնորհիվ` 2018 թվականին:

«Իշխանության գալով նրանք հույս ունեին, որ խորհրդային դարաշրջանի օլիգարխիկ իշխանությունն ու կոռուպցիան կվերանան: Սակայն, ինչպես հաճախ է պատահում հետվարշավյան դաշինքի երկրներում, պարզ է դառնում, որ կոմունիստական դարաշրջանի քաղաքական և օլիգարխիկ կառույցների փոխարինումը հնարավոր է միայն Մոսկվայի հետ հարաբերությունների սրմամբ և դեպի արևմտյան լիբերալիզմ շրջադարձ կատարելով: Հայերն, իհարկե, իրավունք ունեն պահանջել վերջ տալ օլիգարխիկ կոռուպցիային և գերիշխանությանը, բայց դա պետք է իրականացվեր միայն առանց ավանդական աշխարհաքաղաքական դաշինքներին հակառակության: Դրան հակառակ Փաշինյանը իր կառավարությունը լցրել է Սորոսի հիմնադրամի կողմից ֆինանսավորվող մարդկանցով:

Փաշինյանի աշխարհաքաղաքական սխալն այն էր, որ նա ցանկանում էր Հայաստանը վերածել արևմտյան ոճի լիբերալ պետության` լինելով թշնամիներով շրջապատված և հեռու գտնվելով ԵՄ-ից: Այդ անմտությունը պարզ երևաց պատերազմը սկսվելիս և դրա ընթացքում, երբ Արևմուտքը հռետորական համակրանքներ հայտնելուց բացի ոչինչ չարեց:

Ի վերջո, Արցախը պաշտպանելու անկարողության պատչառով հենց Ռուսաստանը միջամտեց: Եվ դա այն դեպքում, երբ Փաշինյանը շրջված էր դեպի Արևմուտք և իր վարչակազմում կուտակում էր ռուսաֆոբական Սորոսի հիմնադրամի կողմից ֆինանսավորվող անդամների»,-եռզրափակել է հեղինակը:
