Ամենատարբեր ոլորտներում աշխատող աշխարհի խոշորագույն ընկերությունները, ներդրումներ են կատարում առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաների, նորարարությունների և գիտության մեջ: Այսպիսով, “Philip Morris International” ընկերությունը, առանց ծուխ սիգարետ ստեղծելու նպատակով, վեց տարի առաջ թողարկել է ծխախոտի տաքացման համակարգ՝ հայկական շուկայում նույնպես հայտնի IQOS-ը: Ներկայումս սարքավորումը օգտագործվում է աշխարհի 50-ից ավելի երկրների ավելի քան 14 մլն չափահաս օգտատերերի կողմից, իսկ համացանցում կարելի է հանդիպել IQOS-ի մասին բազմաթիվ դրական կարծիքներ: Միևնույն ժամանակ, ապրանքանիշը շարունակում է փոխվել և կատարելագործվել՝ ներկայացնելով նորացված մոդելներ, որոնցից վերջինը IQOS 3 DUOS-ն է: Լրագրող Իվան Ակիմովը Gazeta-ի իր հոդվածում նույնպես վերլուծել է նոր սերնդի սարքավորումը:

Այսօր IQOS-ը ներկայացված է հետևյալ տարբերակներով՝ IQOS 2.4 Plus, IQOS 3 Multi և IQOS 3 DUOS: Այն, ինչը միավորում է IQOS-ի անցյալի, ներկայի և ապագայի բոլոր մոդելները, գիտական մոտեցումն ու առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաներն են, որոնք ընկած են արտադրանքի մշակման հիմքում:

Իր առանց կրակի աշխատող արտադրանքի մշակման ժամանակ՝ “Philip Morris International”-ը հաշվի է առել որակի միջազգային ստանդարտները և առաջատար գիտական տեխնոլոգիաները: PMI-ը 120 մլն դոլարի ներդրում է կատարել սեփական գիտահետազոտական կենտրոնի կառուցման համար, որտեղ աշխատում է ավելի քան 400 գիտնական և ինժեներ: Ժամանակակից գիտական համալիրը գտնվում է Շվեյցարիայի Նեուշատել լճի ափին և հայտնի է The Cube անվամբ: Գիտական գնահատման ու նոր սերնդի արտադրանքի մշակման վրա ծախսվել է ավելի քան 7 մլրդ դոլար։

PMI-ը առանց կրակի սարքավորումների մշակումը սկսվել է դեռևս 1990-ական թվականներից: Ծխախոտի ջեռուցման համակարգ IQOS-ը հիմնվում է այն բանի վրա, որ ծխելիս՝ հիմնական վնասը հասցնում է այրման արգասիքը: Հենց այրումն է առաջացնում ծխախոտի ծխում հայտնաբերված բարձր ակտիվությամբ վնասակար քիմիական միացությունների մեծ մասը: Այդ պատճառով PMI-ի գիտնականների գլխավոր մշակումներից մեկը դարձել է Heat Control™ տեխնոլոգիան, որի շնորհիվ IQOS 3 DUOS-ի և սարքավորման այլ մոդելների օգտագործման ժամանակ այրում տեղի չի ունենում:

IQOS-ի աշխատանքի սկզբունքը հետևյալն է՝ կերամիկայից պատրաստված տաքացնող սայրը վրայի պլատինի և ոսկու շավիղներով ներսից տաքացնում է ծխախոտային գլանակը։ Ըստ արտադրողի տվյալների` այս տեխնոլոգիան թույլ է տալիս լիովին բացահայտել ծխախոտի համն ու բույրը: Ոսկին և պլատինը ձևավորում են ջերմաէլեկտրական փոխարկիչ, որը թույլ է տալիս հստակ կառավարել ջերմաստիճանը՝ չթողնելով, որ այն գերազանցի 350℃-ը՝ այսպիսով կանխելով այրումը (սիգարետի այրման ջերմաստիճանը հասնում է 600-800℃-ի): Այդիսկ պատճառով IQOS օգտագործելիս՝ արտադրվող վնասակար նյութերի մակարդակը՝ սիգարետի համեմատ, նվազում է միջինում 95%ով։

Կարևոր է. սա չի նշանակում ռիսկի 95% նվազեցում: IQOS-ի օգտագործումը չի բացառում առողջության ռիսկերը:

IQOS ծխախոտի տաքացման համակարգը տևական և համակարգված աշխատանք է պահանջել, որը մինչ այժմ շարունակվում է: Հետազոտությունների, բազմակողմանի գիտական գնահատականի և առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաների շնորհիվ՝ սարքավորումը յուրաքանչյուր սերնդի հետ ավելի ու ավելի է կատարելագործվում: Սարքավորումների կատարելագործմանը մասնակցում են նաև չափահաս օգտատերերը: Ապրանքանիշը լսում է IQOS-ի մասին նրանց կարծիքները և, նրանց ցանկությունները հաշվի առնելով, բարելավում է մոդելները:
