 Չինաստանի Դալիան քաղաքի օտար լեզուների համալսարանում դեկտեմբերի 9-ին տեղի է ունեցել Չինաստանում հայագիտական առաջին կենտրոնի բացումը, որը հնարավոր եղավ իրականացնել Երևանի Վ. Բրյուսովի անվան լեզվահասարակագիտական համալսարանի և Դալիանի օտար լեզուների համալսարանի համագործակցության արդյունքում։ Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, կենտրոնի բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությանը ներկա են եղել Չինաստանում ՀՀ դեսպան Արմեն Սարգսյանը, Երևանի Վ. Բրյուսովի անվան լեզվահասարակագիտական համալսարանի պատվիրակությունը՝ ռեկտոր Գայանե Գասպարյանի գլխավորությամբ, Դալիանի օտար լեզուների համալսարանի ղեկավարությունը, Դալիանի քաղաքապետարանի և չինական տարբեր լրատվամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչներ:

Ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես են եկել Չինաստանում ՀՀ դեսպան Արմեն Սարգսյանը, Հայագիտական կենտրոնի տնօրենը, երկու համալսարանների ղեկավարները: Իր խոսքում ՀՀ դեսպանը կարևորել է իր տեսակի մեջ առաջին կենտրոնի բացումը, որը յուրահատուկ հարթակ է դառնալու հայ-չինական երկկողմ հարաբերությունների բազմաթիվ հարցերի քննարկման, ինչպես նաև հետագա փոխգործակցության խորացման ուղիների ուսումնասիրության համար։ Դեսպանը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ կենտրոնը կնպաստի ոչ միայն երկու համալսարանների միջև գիտական և մշակութային համագործակցության ընդլայնմանը, այլ նաև երկու երկրների կրթական համակարգերի միջև նոր կապերի հաստատմանը՝ դառնալով հայ և չին ժողովուրդների բազմադարյա բարեկամության և համագործակցության ևս մեկ վառ օրինակ։ Դեսպան Սարգսյանը վստահեցրել է, որ դեսպանատունն անհրաժեշտ աջակցություն է ցուցաբերելու կենտրոնին և մշտական ուշադրության կենտրոնում պահելու վերջինիս գործունեությունը:

Բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությունից հետո մասնակիցները համալսարանի ուսանողների հետ միասին այցելել են նորաբաց կենտրոն՝ տարաբնույթ գրքեր, ձեռնարկներ, տպագիր և էլեկտրոնային ուսումնական նյութերի նվիրաբերմամբ առաջին քայլը կատարելով կենտրոնում հայագիտական հարուստ գրադարանի ձևավորման գործում։
