Նախընտրական ժամանակահատվածներում Լևոնը երբեք էլ աչքի չի ընկել պոլիտկոռեկտությամբ։
Ու բայց բացի իր պատկերացրած ժամանակահատվածի գործոնից կարևորագույն գործոն է նաև տոտեմների տոտեմի՝ Լևոնի միշտ ճիշտ լինելու «ինստիտուտի» առաջ կրակն անմար պահելը։ Ըստ Լևոնի՝ Լևոնը միշտ պիտի ճիշտ լինի, իսկ դրա համար անհրաժեշտ պայման է, որ մնացած բոլորը լինեն տգետ, չհասկացող, ազգակործան ու հոգեկան։
Ափսոս, որ չկարողացավ իր պատկերացրած «ճիշտը» լինել այն պահին, երբ այդ «ճիշտ» լինելը ինչ-որ մի նշանակություն ու ազդեցություն ուներ։ Ափսոս, որ Լևոնը, լինելով պետության նախագահ, չկարողացավ լինել պետության նախագահ, լինելով պետության նախագահ՝ չկարողացավ կատարել պետության նախագահի գործառույթները, չկարողացավ իրացնել իրեն տրված իշխանությունը ու ինքն իրեն ու բոլորիս ազատել իր՝ անկատար անցյալով ճիշտ լինելու բարդույթից։
Անկախ ամեն ինչից Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը, այո, կմնա հայ քաղաքական մտքի գագաթներից մեկը, բայց գագաթները ևս ունենում են բարդույթներ, իսկ բարդույթները կործանարար են։
