ԵՄ-ն ձգտում է Թրամփի հեռանալուց հետո «նորացնել եւ ակտիվացնել» կապերը ԱՄՆ-ի հետ

Եվրամիության անդամները քննարկել են ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հեռանալուց հետո անդրատլանտյան հարաբերությունների «վերսկսման ու վերակենդանացման» հնարավորությունը, հայտնում է Reuters-ը:
ԵՄ 27 երկրների դեսպանները ուսումնասիրել են քաղաքական այն հինգ ոլորտները, որոնցում նրանք համագործակցության ավելի շատ հնարավորություններ են տեսնում Ջո Բայդենի կողմից պաշտոնը ստանձնելուց հետո:
«Նոր վարչակազմը եւ նոր կոնգրեսը ԵՄ-ին հնարավորություն են տալիս վերականգնել եւ ակտիվացնել ռազմավարական գործընկերությունը Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ` ելնելով փոխադարձ շահերից»,- ասվում է բանագնացների համար պատրաստված փաստաթղթում: «ԵՄ-ն պետք է համաձայնեցնի մի շարք հատուկ գերակայություններ, որոնց համար պետք է ներգրավել ԱՄՆ նոր ղեկավարությանը»,- ասվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
Չնայած ԵՄ անդամների տարաձայնություններին՝ հիմնական ուղղությունների շուրջ լայն համաձայնություն է ձեռք բերվել, հայտարարել է ԵՄ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչը։
Դրանց թվում են՝ առողջապահությունը, ներառյալ COVID-19 համավարակի դեմ պայքարը, տնտեսության վերականգնման արագացումը, կլիմայի փոփոխության դեմ պայքարը, խաղաղության եւ անվտանգության խթանումը եւ ընդհանուր արժեքների պահպանումը:
Ակնկալվում է, որ ԵՄ առաջնորդները անդրատլանտյան հարաբերությունների հարցը կքննարկեն դեկտեմբերի 10-11-ը կայանալիք գագաթաժողովում:
Եվրահանձնաժողովը եւ ԵՄ արտաքին քաղաքական ծառայությունը պատրաստել են եւս մեկ փաստաթուղթ, որը կվերականգնի կապերը ընդհանուր ճակատներում, ներառյալ թվային կարգավորումը, եւ կքննարկի Չինաստանին հակազդելու հնարավորությունները:
ԵՄ եւ Եվրահանձնաժողովի կառավարությունների ռազմավարություններն ընդգծում են Եվրոպայում լավատեսությունն այն բանի վերաբերյալ, որ Բայդենի նախագահությունը կլիմայի փոփոխության, միջուկային զենքի տարածման եւ մարդու իրավունքների դեմ պայքարում ԵՄ առաջնահերթությունները ամրապնդող նոր շրջանի մասին է ազդարարելու:
