«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է.
Երեկ կառավարություն էին հրավիրել դատարանների նախագահներին։ Չնայած իրավաբանները գրեցին, որ նման հանդիպումն անօրինական է, բայց պատճառը, ըստ ամենայնի, այն է, որ դատավորները հրաժարվում են կատարել իշխանությունից ստացվող քաղաքական պատվերները․ Փաշինյանը կանչել է՝ նրանց «մշակելու»:
Հանդիպմանը չի մասնակցել վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանի նախագահ Վազգեն Ռշտունին․ լուր տարածվեց, թե նա մերժել է «Արցախը հանձնած դավաճանի հետ» հանդիպումը, սակայն երեկ Ռշտունին մեզ ասաց է, որ ջերմում է՝ կորոնավիրուսի թեստ է հանձնել եւ այդ պատճառով չի մասնակցել հավաքին։
Եթե առողջական խնդիրներ չունենայիք, կմասնակցեի՞ք։ «Ճիշտն ասած՝ հետաքրքիր կլիներ մասնակցել եւ իմանալ, թե հանդիպումն ինչի մասին է, ինչ բնույթի խոսակցություն է ծավալվելու։ Ես չգիտեմ, թե ինչ նպատակով է հանդիպումը, չեմ կարողացել խոսել գործընկերներիս հետ։ Եթե հանդիպումը վերաբերի դատական իշխանության անկախության բարելավմանը, առողջացմանը, բնականաբար, դրանք ես դրական կհամարեմ»։
Երկուսուկես տարվա ընթացքում, սակայն, Ռշտունին, իր խոսքով, չի հիշում նման հանդիպում։ Այդ դեպքում պարզ չէ՞, թե հանդիպման նպատակը որն է։ «Ես դրա համար եմ ասում, որ պետք է խոսեմ գործընկերներիս հետ, որ հասկանամ»։
