Պաշտպանության բանակը ներկայացրել է հերոսական նոր դրվագներ։
Հարավային ուղղությամբ գործող ստորաբաժանումներից մեկը ոչնչացրել է հակառակորդի ավտոտեխնիկա և մեծաթիվ մարդուժ, պաշտպանել են կարևոր խաչմերուկներից մեկը՝ կասեցնելով թշնամու հետագա առաջխաղացումը, և հետագայում ապահովել անձնակազմի անվտանգ դուրս բերումը: Նաև հմտորեն գործել է դարանում՝ պահպանելով կապը հրամանատարության հետ:
Գործողության ժամանակ աչքի են ընկել ավագ լեյտենանտ Գեղամ Նշանի ՈՒզունյանը, կապիտան Արտավազդ Հենրիկի Զաքարյանը, սերժանտ Արսեն Արմենակի Տեր-Պողոսյանը, շարքայիններ Վահե Վահանի Ապրունցը, Վիլեն Մխիթարի Ղազարյանը, Ժան Սերյոժայի Էլոյանը, Սուրեն Սպարտակի Մխիթարյանը:
