Նախօրեին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի նախաձեռնությամբ կազմակերպված հանրային խորհրդի անդամների հետ հանդիպմանը միջադեպերն անպակաս չեն եղել: Այս մասին «Առավոտի» հետ զրույցում պատմեց հանրային խորհրդի անդամ Արշակ Սադոյանը:

«Ստյոպա Սաֆարյանը փորձեց հանդիպումը փափուկ հունով տանել, ես առաջիններից մեկը ձայն վերցրի ու ասացի, որ այստեղ ուրիշ հարց չկա, հիմնական խնդիրը վարչապետի հրաժարականը պետք է լինի: Դեռ նոյեմբերի 15-ին, որպես հանրային խորհրդի անդամ, պաշտոնական գրությամբ դիմեցի վարչապետին ու ԱԺ ղեկավարությանը, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակում թույլ տված սխալների համար գլխավոր գերագույն հրամանատարը պետք է հրաժարական տա: Նիկոլը  չէր պատասխանել այդ նամակիս, ես այս հանդիպման ժամանակ նաեւ հիշեցրի այդ նամակիս մասին: Փաշինյանը լարված ու վատ վիճակում էր, զգուշությամբ փորձեց շրջանցել իմ բարձրացրած հարցը՝ ասելով, թե ախր ժողովուրդն ինձ է ընտրել, ես էլ ասացի՝ ոնց եք պարզել հանրաքվե՞ եք արել, հարցումնե՞ր եք արել, նա չպատասխանեց: Ինչից հետո խոսեց Դանիել Իոաննիսյանը՝ անդրադառնալով բյուջե, դատական համակարգ, ես ընդհատեցի՝ ասելով, որ կոնկրետ հրաժարականի հարց պետք է քննարկվի, վարչապետն ասաց՝ թողեք նա էլ իր խոսքն ասի: Ուրիշների ելույթների ժամանակ էլ փորձեցի ընդհատել, Նիկոլը ռիսկ չէր անում ինձ կարգի հրավիրել: Երբ սկսեցի համը հանել, վարչապետը փորձեց ելք գտնել, ասաց՝ պարոն Սադոյան, գիտեմ՝ ծխում եք, գուցե դուրս գաք, ծխեք ու հանգստանաք, հետո դիմեց իր աշխատակիցներից մեկին, թե պարոն Սադոյանին մի հատ էլ սուրճ տվեք, դուրս եկա, գնացի սուրճ խմելու, հետո իմաստ չգտա վերադառնալ նորից: Ինձ հետո պատմեցին, որ հրաժարականի հստակ պահանջներով նաեւ Գինոսյանն ու ուրիշներն են ելույթ ունեցել»,- հանդիպման մասին պատմեց Արշակ Սադոյանը:

Անդրադառնալով ընդդիմության վարչապետի թեկնածուին՝ ԱԺՄ առաջնորդ Վազգեն Մանուկյանին, Արշակ Սադոյանը, որը նախկինում նույնպես ԱԺՄ անդամ էր, ասաց. «Կարծում էի, որ այս լարված իրավիճակում ճիշտ կլինի, որ ՀՀ նախագահն իր վրա վերցնի այդ գործառույթները: Ես առաջարկել էի այդ տարբերակը, համենայնդեպս նախագահ Մոսկվա մեկնելուց առաջ ասել էր՝ չի ուզում դառնալ վարչապետ, այս պայմաններում ինչ-որ մեկը պետք է ժամանակավոր կառավարության կազմավորման գործը վերցնի, 17 կուսակցությունից որեւէ մեկը մոտիկ չի կարող գալ այդ գործին, բացի Վազգեն Մանուկյանից, որովհետեւ մնացած բոլորը կապերի ու գործի տեսակետից չեն կարող, ամենահարմարը Վազգեն Մանուկյանն է, որը կկարողանա որոշակի կարգավորումներ անել, շատ ճիշտ որոշում են կայացրել այդ կուսակցությունները»:
