Ավշարցի Սասունը զոհվեց անառիկ Շուշիում՝ զինվորներին հաց հասցնելու ճանապարհին

Արցախյան պատերազմում զոհված 31–ամյա Սասուն Մովսեսյանը այդպես էլ չհասցրեց ընտանիքի հետ վայելել Արցախը։ Սեպտեմբերի 26–ին՝ պատերազմի նախորդ օրը, Սասունը կնոջ՝ Սոնայի, նրա եղբոր և երկու որդիների՝ 8–֊ամյա Գագիկի և 6֊–ամյա Դավիթի հետ մեկնել էր Արցախ՝ անցկացնելու ընտանեկան հանգիստը։ Սեպտեմբերի 27֊–ի առավոտյան, երբ սկսվեց Արցախի դեմ լայնածավալ պատերազմը, Սասունն ընտանիքին ուղեկցել է հայրենի գյուղ՝ Ավշար և նույն օրը վերադարձել Արցախ։ Պատերազմի ընթացքում Սասունը եղել է ռազմաճակատի բոլոր ուղղություններում։ Սկզբնական շրջանում իր մեքենայով արտասահմանյան լրագրողներին է ուղեկցել թշնամու հրթիռահրետանային կրակի թիրախում հայտնված գյուղեր և քաղաքներ, իր հերթին լուսանկարել ավերված բնակավայրերը, հացրել մտերմանալ իսպանացի լրագրող Պաբլո Գոնսալեսի, Wargonzo ալիքի լրագրող Սեմյոն Պեգովի հետ։

Պատերազմի ընթացքում Սասունը մի քանի անգամ հետ է վերադարձել Հայաստան, կազմակերպել դրամահավաք, որից գոյացած հասույթով, ինչպես նաև իր միջոցներով առաջին անհրաժեշտության պարագաներ և սնունդ է հասցրել զինվորներին։  Գիշերային տեսանելիության սարքեր գնելու նպատակով անգամ վաճառել է իր ավտոմեքենան։ Նրան հասցրե են ճանաչել և սիրել Շուշիի, Քարինտակի և Ստեփանակերտի պաշտպանության համար մարտնչող շատ զինվորներ։ Պատերազմի ամբողջ ընթացքում լրագրողների հետ թեժ կետերում լինելուց բացի Սասունը նաև սնունդ, ջուր և նյութատեխնիկական սարքավորումներ է հասցրել մարտական դիրքերում գտնվող զինվորներին, անցնելով ամենաբարդ, վտանգավոր և հրետակոծվող ճանապարհներով։ Իսկ նոյեմբերի սկզբից մասնակցել է Քարինտակ–Շուշի–Ստեփանակերտ հատվածի պաշտպանությանը։ Սասունը զոհվել է նոյեմբերի 6–ի երեկոյան Շուշիի մատույցներում՝ ավտոմեքենայով զինվորներին հաց հասցնելու ճանապարհին։ Սասունը սիրում էր Արցախը՝ այն համարելով հայրենիքի անբաժանելի մասը։ Նա նվիրեց ամենաթանկը ամենաթանկին՝ կյանքը հայրենիքին։
