Արա Այվազյանը և ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Գլխավոր տնօրենը քննարկել են տարածաշրջանում ստեղծված իրադրությունը (տեսանյութ)
POLITICSԴեկտեմբերի 8-ին Ֆրանսիա կատարած աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակներում ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արա Այվազյանը հանդիպեց ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Գլխավոր տնօրեն Օդրի Ազուլեի հետ։
Զրուցակիցները բարձր գնահատեցին Հայաստանի և ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի միջև հաստատված ավանդական սերտ համագործակցությունը՝ պատրաստակամություն հայտնելով նույն ոգով շարունակելու կառույցի նպատակների կյանքի կոչման ուղղությամբ քայլերի ձեռնարկումը:
ԱԳ նախարարը և Գլխավոր տնօրենն անդրադարձան Արցախի դեմ թուրք-ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի հետևանքով տարածաշրջանում ստեղծված իրադրությանը: ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Գլխավոր տնօրենն իր խորին ցավակցությունը հայտնեց մարդկային կորուստների կապակցությամբ:
ԱԳ նախարար Այվազյանը ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Գլխավոր տնօրեն Օդրի Ազուլեի ուշադրությունը հրավիրեց Արցախի՝ Ադրբեջանի օկուպացիայի տակ հայտնված հայկական մշակութային և կրոնական հուշարձանների նկատմամբ անհանդուրժողականության աղաղակող դրսևորումների վրա: Նախարար Այվազյանի խոսքով՝ Ադրբեջանի կողմից հայկական պատմամշակութային ժառանգության միտումնավոր ոչնչացումը, սրբապղծման կամ դրանց ինքնության կեղծման փորձերը միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերի բացահայտ խախտում են, հակասում են քաղաքակրթական արժեքներին և, ըստ այդմ, խստագույնս դատապարտելի են:
Նախարար Այվազյանը նշեց, որ Ադրբեջանի կողմից մշակութային նոր ցեղասպանությունը կանխելու գործում կարևոր է միջազգային կառույցների արագ արձագանքումը՝ այն իրականացնողներին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու և նման գործողությունները լիարժեքորեն կանխելու նպատակով: Այս առնչությամբ զրուցակիցները մտքեր փոխանակեցին ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի կողմից տարածաշրջան առաքելություն ուղարկելու Գլխավոր տնօրենի առաջարկի կյանքի կոչման շուրջ:
