Դեկտեմբերի 9-ը ՄԱԿ-ի նախաձեռնությամբ նշվում է որպես Ցեղասպանության հանցագործության զոհերի հիշատակի և արժանապատվության ու այս հանցագործության կանխարգելման միջազգային օր:  Օրվա կապակցությամբ  հնարությանը ներկայացվեց Հայագիտական ուսումնասիրությունների զարգացման և աջակցման «Անիվ» հիմնադրամի կողմից հրատարակված «Դատավճիռ Ստամբուլում. Դատական գործընթացներ Հայերի ցեղասպանության գործով» գրքի ռուսերեն թարգմանությունը: Գրքի համահեղինակներն են Զորյանի ինստիտուտի Ցեղասպանության ուսումնասիրության կենտրոնի տնօրեն Վահագն Դադրյանը (1926-2019), (Կանադա/ ԱՄՆ), և Կլարկի համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Թաներ Աքչամը (ծնվ. 1953թ.) (ԱՄՆ): Թուրքերեն լեզվով «Դատավճիռ Ստամբուլում» գիրքը հրատարակվեց 2008 թվականին, իսկ 2011-ին լույս տեսավ անգլերեն տարբերակը:
 
1919թ. Օսմանյան կայսրությունում իր աշխատանքը սկսեց 1915թ. հայերի մասսայական սպանությունների գործը քննելու նպատակով ստեղծված  Հատուկ ռազմական տրիբունալը: Տրիբունալի աշխատանքի արդյունքում՝ կայացվեցին մի քանի տասնյակ տարբեր ծանրության դատավճիռներ, այդ թվում՝ 18  մահապատժի դատավճիռ (որոնցից միայն երեքն ի կատար ածվեց): 1920թ. սկսվեց հերթական լսումների նախապատրաստությունը, բայց իշխանության եկած քեմալական կառավարությունը շուտով ցրեց տրիբունալը:
 
«Անիվ» հիմնադրամը հրատարակեց այս ֆունդամենտալ հետազոտության ռուսերեն թարգմանությունը  Հատուկ ռազմական տրիբունալի աշխատանքների ավարտի 100-ամյակի կապակցությամբ:  Մենագրությունն իրականացվել է բարձր գիտական մակարդակով և հիմնված է մեծածավալ աղբյուրների և պատմագրական աշխատանքների  վրա, ներառյալ՝ արխիվային փաստաթղթեր և լրատվական նյութեր: Աշխատության մեջ վերլուծված է տրիբունալի ընդհանուր աշխատանքը և մանրամասն ներկայացվում են ամենակարևոր գործընթացները.  ցույց է տրվում տրիբունալի տեղն ու դերն այդ ժամանակաշրջանի Թուրքիայի հասարակական-քաղաքական կյանքում: Առանձին գլխում հրապարակված են դատավճիռների և մեղադրական եզրակացությունների ամբողջական տեքստերը՝ ռուսերեն թարգմանությամբ:
 
Այսօրվա դրությամբ 1919-1920թթ. Հատուկ ռազմական տրիբունալը միակն ու առաջինն է պատմության մեջ, երբ թուրքական դատարանը դատեց թուրք բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների՝ սահմանադրությունը խախտելու և հայերի մասսայական սպանությունների մեղադրանքով, և դատապարտեց, և ոչ թե՝ միջազգային, այլ՝ օսմանյան քրեական օրենսգրքով: Ինչպես պնդում են հեղինակները, դա նշանակում է Հայոց ցեղասպանության փաստացի ճանաչում Օսմանյան կայսրության կողմից դեռևս 1919 թվականին:
