Հայաստանում կալանավորված երկու սիրիացի վարձկան ահաբեկիչները ռազմագերի չեն և ենթակա չեն հանձնման կամ փոխանակման: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնի պետ Ռիմա Եգանյանը:
«Նրանք մեղադրյալի կարգավիճակում են և կալանավորված են»,- ասաց Եգանյանը:
Ազգությամբ արաբ, Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետության քաղաքացիներ Յուսեֆ Ալաբեթ Ալ Հաջին և Մուհհռաբ Մուհամմադ Ալ Շխերին մեղադրվում են ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 389-րդ հոդվածի (միջազգային ահաբեկչություն), 34-390-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասի 1-ին կետի, 3-րդ մասի 1-ին կետի (միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի նորմերի լուրջ խախտումները զինված ընդհարումների ժամանակ) և 395-րդ հոդվածի 3-րդ մասի (վարձկանություն) հատկանիշներով: Նրանք մասնակցել են Արցախի դեմ Ադրբեջանի սանձազերծած պատերազմին և ձերբակալվել ԱՀ պաշտպանության բանակի ուժերի կողմից: Գերիների փոխանակման «Բոլորը բոլորի դիմաց» սկզբունքի քննարկման ֆոնին վարձկան-ահաբեկիչների հանձնման անհնարինությունը վերջակետ է դնում նրանց փոխանակման ենթադրությունների արծարծմանը:
