«Մեդիա պաշտպանը» հաղորդագրություն է տարածել, ուր մասնավորաբար ասված է. Այսօր Հանրապետության հրապարակում խոչընդոտել են 5-րդ ալիքի լրագրող-հաղորդավար Լարա Առաքելյանի աշխատանքը։ Քաղաքացիներից ոմանք վիրավորական արտահայտություններ են թույլ տվել, իսկ «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանը հրաժարվել է պատասխանել լրագրողի հարցերին։ Մանրամասների համար կապ հաստատեցինք Լարա Առաքելյանի հետ, որը հաստատեց լուրը․ «Հրապարակից պետք է մեկնարկեր երթը դեպի Եռաբլուր։ Մենք հենց գնացինք, սկսեցին վիրավորանքներ հասցնել՝ թուրքեր, դավաճաններ, գնացեք էստեղից, իրավունք չունեք էստեղ գտնվելու։ Մի կին հրեց, ռեպորտաժը կա, անընդհատ վիրավորանքներ։ Հետո եկավ Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանը, գնացի հարց տալու, ասաց՝ ձեր հետ չեմ խոսելու, թող մյուս լրագրողները հարցեր տան։ Ասացի՝ չեք կարծում, որ այս վերաբերմունքով սադրում եք, հանրային տրամադրությունը լարում, ինքը էլի՝ ես ձեր հետ չեմ խոսելու, իր ոճի մեջ։ Ընթացքում էլի հայհոյանքներ եղան, մտածեցի, որ նկարահանում չեմ կարողանա անել, բայց մի կերպ մի երկու բան կարողացա նկարել, եկա ռեպորտաժը պատրաստեցի»։ «Մեդիա պաշտպան» նախաձեռնությունը բազմիցս անդրադարձել է Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանի մասնակցությամբ նման միջադեպերի։ Պատգամավորը մշտապես աչքի է ընկնում լրագրողների հանդեպ անհանդուրժող վերաբերմունքով, հիմնականում նրանց հանդեպ, որոնք չեն պաշտպանում իշխանության տեսակետը, հարցազրույցներ է տալիս հիմնականում Հանրային հեռուստաընկերությանն ու Ազատություն TV-ին։ Դատապարտում ենք լրագրողի հանդեպ հարձակումն ու աշխատանքը խոչընդոտելու փորձերը, շնորհակալություն հայտնում լրագրողին համարձակ գտնվելու ու աշխատանքը ավարտին հասցնելու համար։
