Նայում եմ չկայացած «գերագույնին» դեպի Եռաբլուր ուղեկցող թափորին և ապշում... Ապշում եմ այդ մարդկանց մտածողությունից, այն մենահատ «Նիկոլ» գոռոցից, որ, առանց արձագանքի, մարվում էր Եռաբլուրի սուրբ տարածքում ամփոփված մեր հայրենյաց նահատակների լռության հորիզոնում... Ապշում եմ այն պահից, երբ Նիկոլին կողքից հուշում են իր գիրկն առնել անհայր մնացած մանուկին, իսկ ապա նաև խոնարհվել ու համբուրել այրիացած կնոջ ձեռքը... Այո, հենց այն կնոջ, ով այդ վիճակում է հայտնվել նույն իր՝ «գերագույնի» ապաշնորհ քաղաքականության արդյունքում...
Ապշում եմ այն թափորի համաքայլից, ով հլու-հնազանդ ուղեկցելով «գերագույնին»՝ գոնե, հայացքով չի հուշում, որ ինքն այդ շարքում է հայտնվել ստիպված...
Եվ վերջապես ապշում եմ, թե ինչպես կարելի է մեկի առաջնորդությամբ գնալ այնտեղ, որտեղ նրան չեն սպասում ոչ միայն որդեկորույս ծնողները, այլև, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, երկնային անսահմանությունից երկրային մեղավորներիս հետևող նահատակ հերոսները...
