Պաշտպանության նախարարն իրավունք չունի ընդհանրապես զինվորական կոչում ունենալ, ապուշ-ապուշ խոսելուց առաջ թող գա, ես իրեն տանեմ Գորիսից մինչև Կապան ճանապարհը ցույց տամ, թե ինչքան վտանգավոր վիճակ է՝ ճանապարհի մի հատվածը «Թասի ոլորաններ»-ի վրա, որ տվել է թուրքին ու ասում է, որ ռուսը այնտեղ կանգնած է, գնանք այդ տեղը կանգնենք, տեսնենք, որ Տաթևի ՀԷԿ-ը թշնամու ուղիղ նշանառության տակ է. այսօր Սյունիքի մարզում տեղի ունեցած բողոքի ակցիայի ժամանակ ասաց տեղի բնակիչներից Նորայր Ասրյանը:

Նշենք, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այսօր այցելել է Սյունիք, սակայն սյունեցիները փակել էին Գորիս-Տաթև ավտոճանապարհը՝ արգելելու Փաշինյանի մուտքը այնտեղ:

«Վաղը, եթե պատերազմ եղավ, Տաթևի ՀԷԿ–ը խփեցին, ո՞վ է պատասխան տալու, անվտա՞նգ է այ շունշան որդի, քեզ գեներալի կոչում տվողն ու պաշտոնը տվողն է մեղավոր, որ դու քարտեզից գաղափար չունես: Ձեր գծած քարտեզի երեսից ամբողջ Զանգեզուրի շրջանում մի քառակուսի մետր ապահով տարածք չկա, որ թուրքի հրետանին չկարողանա խփի: Թուրքին բերեցիք, մտցրիք ուղիղ Կապան, եթե մինչև քո վարչապետը լինելը թուրքը իմ տնից 85 կմ էր հեռու, հիմա 8 կմ է հեռու, ի՞նչն է անվտանգ»,– ասաց նա:

Բնակչի  խոսքով՝ հաջորդ պատերազմի ժամանակ նոր գծած սահմաններով հնարավոր չէ պաշտպանել Սյունիքը: «Այս քարտեզով չենք կարող դիմադրել թուրքին, գլուխը պատով է տալիս նա, ինչ զինվորական կոչում ուզում է ունենա, եթե ասում է, որ երկիրը անվտանգ է, մենք շատ խայտառակ վիճակում ենք հիմա, ես պատրաստ եմ դա ապացուցել և՛ գլխավոր շտաբում, և՛ ուղիղ եթերում, և՛ դատարանում, թող գան տեսնեմ այդքան ուղեղ ունե՞ն, կարա՞ն հակառակը ապացուցել»,– ասաց Նորայր Ասրյանը:
