«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է

Զենքով, զրահով, հազարավոր ոստիկաններով ու պետական աշխատողներով, հատուկ հովանոցներով ու «պայուսակներով» Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին հաջողվեց իրականացնել «Եռաբլուրի առումը» օպերացիան: Ցանկացած բանական մարդու համար այդ օրը կմնա որպես ամոթի ու խայտառակության ևս մեկ օր:

Սյունիքը «գրավել», սակայն, Փաշինյանին չհաջողվեց: Ճիշտ է, նա ամեն դեպքում նշեց, թե «այսօր մենք հանդիպեցինք սյունեցիների հետ, մեր խոնարհումը բերեցինք եւ խնկարկեցինք սյունեցի զինվորների գերեզմաններին», իրականում նա Սիսիանից այն կողմ չկարողացավ անցնել (ընդ որում, Սիսիանի քաղաքապետն էլ այնտեղ չէր, այլ Սյունիքի մուտքը փակած ժողովրդի կողքին), որովհետև պատվախնդիր սյունեցիները չընկրկեցին բազմաթիվ ոստիկանների ու այլ ճնշումների առջև:

Սիսիանում նա հանդիպեց միայն կազմակերպած ձևով մոտ 200 հավաքի բերվածների ու ճանապարհին ճչացող շոուով, թատերական վատ բեմադրությամբ իրեն գրկախառնվել նետվող մի քանիսի հետ: Իսկ հետո... Հետո սկսեցին ճնշումները Սիսիանի հոգևոր հովվի դեմ, որը չէր սեղմել Նիկոլի ձեռքը: Կան տեղեկություններ, որ տոտալ ճնշումներ, ձերբակալություններ են սպասվում բոլոր նրանց նկատմամբ, ովքեր «հարամել» են Սյունիքի «գրավումը»: Սա զարմանալի չէ. Կաթողիկոսի դեմ հարձակվող, երկուսուկես տարի շարունակ բոլոր արժեքները ոտնատակ տվող, ամեն նվիրականի, հայկականի դեմ պայքարող, սրբությունները տրորող, բոլոր կարմիր գծերն անցնող իշխանությունից դժվար է այլ բան սպասել...
