Մոսկվան կպատասխանի ԱՄՆ նոր պատժամիջոցներին եւ եզրակացություններ կանի Վաշինգթոնի հետ հարաբերությունների ողջ կոմպլեքսի վերաբերյալ, այս մասին Կատարի փոխվարչապետ, արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մուհամեդ բեն Աբդերահման ալ-Թանիի հետ բանակցություններից հետո  մամուլի ասուլիսին հայտարարել է ՌԴ արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը, փոխանցում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն:

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ Առեւտրի նախարարությունը հրապարակել էր Ռուսաստանից եւ Չինաստանից զինված ուժերի հետ կապված 103 ընկերությունների ցուցակը, որոնք արտահանման սահմանափակումների ենթակա կլինեն: Ցանկում ներառված են Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության Պաշտպանության նախարարությունը, ավիացիոն, տիեզերական եւ այլ ոլորտների խոշոր ձեռնարկություններ:

«Ինչ վերաբերում է ամերիկյան նոր պատժամիջոցների մասին հարցին, որոնք սահմանվել են Ռուսաստանի եւ Չինաստանից ֆիզիկական անձանց եւ ընկերությունների դեմ, ապա դա մեզ համար զարմանալի չէ. իհարկե, պատասխան կհաջորդի եւ` ոչ միայն հայելիության կամ սիմետրիայի մասով, բայց մենք լրացուցիչ եզրակացություններ կանենք, որոնք կվերաբերեն ռուս-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների ողջ շրջանակին»,- ասել է Լավրովը:

Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը, մեկնաբանելով ԱՄՆ նոր պատժամիջոցները ռուսական ընկերությունների դեմ, ասել է, որ Վաշինգտոնի գործողությունները մրցակիցներին թուլացնելու փորձ է:

«Վաշինգթոնի այս գործողություններն արտացոլում են Միացյալ Նահանգների ռազմավարական գիծը` մրցակիցներին համաշխարհային շուկաներում թուլացնելու, անբարեխիղճ մրցակցության մեթոդներ ներդնելու համար, Առեւտրի համաշխարհային կազմակերպության կանոնների կոպտագույն խախտմամբ»,- ասել է Լավրովը մամուլի ասուլիսին:
