Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը Ռուսաստանի առաջնորդ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին համարում է ազնիվ մարդ, որը պահում է իր խոսքը:
Ավելի վաղ Ռուսաստանի նախագահը, տարեվերջյան մեծ ասուլիսի ժամանակ պատասխանելով հարցերից մեկին, Էրդողանին անվանել էր մարդ, որն «իր խոսքն է պահում», չնայած այն բանին, որ «որոշ հարցերի վերաբերյալ նրանց տեսակետները կարող են տարբեր լինել»:
«Իրականում սրանք իրեն (Պուտինին) բնութագրող բառեր են: Ծանոթանալով պարոն Պուտինի հետ՝ ես նրան ճանաչեցի այս կերպ: նա իսկապես ազնիվ մարդ է», - ասել է Թուրքիայի նախագահը ՝ ուրբաթօրյա աղոթքից հետո պատասխանելով լրագրողների հարցերին:
Էրդողանը նաև նշել է, որ Ռուսաստանն աշխարհի «այն քիչ երկրներից է, որը կատարում է իր խոստումները և որի հետ հաջողվել է ամուր հարաբերություններ հաստատել»:
«Մենք Ռուսաստանի հետ վստահորեն շարժվում ենք դեպի մեր նպատակները, և ես վստահ եմ, որ կշարունակենք դա անել», - հավելել է նա:
