2020 թվականին ի հայտ եկած համավարակը վերջինը չի լինելու, այդ պատճառով միջազգային հանրությանն անհրաժեշտ է ամրապնդել առողջապահության համակարգերը և պատրաստվել նոր արտակարգ իրավիճակների: ТАСС գործակալության փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հայտարարել է Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության  գլխավոր տնօրեն Թեդրոս Ադհանոմ Գեբրեյեսուսը:

«Պատմությունը մեզ ասում է, որ ներկայիս համավարակը վերջինը չի լինելու, և որ համաճարակները կյանքի իրականությունն են: Դժվար է հավատալ, որ դեռ մեկ տարի առաջ «Քովիդ-19»-ն անհայտ էր: Վերջին 12 ամիսների ընթացքում մեր աշխարհը գլխիվայր շուռ է եկել»,- ասել է ԱՀԿ ղեկավարը դեկտեմբերի 27-ին նշվող հակահամաճարակային պատրաստվածության միջազգային օրվան նվիրված տեսաուղերձում:

Գեբրեյեսուսն ընդգծել է, որ «տարիների ընթացքում բազմաթիվ հաղորդումներ, վերլուծություններ և խորհուրդներ են տրվել այն մասին, որ աշխարհը պատրաստ չէ համավարակին»: Նրա խոսքով՝ հարկ է դաս քաղել կատարվածից և ներդրումներն ուղղել արտակարգ իրավիճակների կանխման գործընթացին և առաջնային բուժօգնության զարգացմանը:

Այս տարի հակահամաճարակային պատրաստվածության միջազգային օրն առաջին անգամ է նշվում՝ ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի՝ դեկտեմբերի 7-ին ընդունած բանաձևի համաձայն:

Հիշեցնենք, որ կորոնավիրուսով վարակվածների թիվն աշխարհում գերազանցել է 80 մլն-ը, վերջին 24 ժամում արձանագրվել է ավելի քան 400 հազար վարակման դեպք: Վերջին մեկ օրում ողջ աշխարհում վիրուսից մահացել է ավելի քան 7300 մարդ՝ ընդհանուր մահացության ցուցանիշը հասցնելով ավելի քան 1,74 մլն-ի:
