 Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Կարեն Միրզոյանը դեկտեմբերի 10-ին հանդիպել է ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆի հետ։ Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ԼՂՀ արտգործնախարարության տեղեկատվական վարչությունից, հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են ադրբեջանա-ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացի, ադրբեջանական զինուժի կողմից շփման գծում ձեռնարկվող սադրանքների, ի նչպես նաև Արցախին տրամադրվող ամերիկյան մարդասիրական օգնության հետ կապված հարցեր:

Նույն օրը Կարեն Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել մի խումբ տարածաշրջանային փորձագետների հետ։ Իր խոսքում ԼՂՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարը ներկայացրել է Արցախի անկախ պետականաշինության գործընթացը, տնտեսական իրավիճակը և զարգացման հեռանկարները: Պատասխանելով փորձագետների հարցերին՝ Կարեն Միրզոյանն անդրադարձել է ԼՂՀ առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերներին, մասնավորապես, ադրբեջանա-ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացում ստեղծված իրավիճակին:

ԼՂՀ արտգործնախարարի այցը Վաշինգտոն եզրափակվել է նույն օրը երեկոյան ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանատանը կազմակերպված ընդունելությամբ, որին մասնակցել են դիվանագետներ, ամերիկահայ կառույցների և համայնքային շրջանակների ներկայացուցիչներ, հոգևորականներ, լրագրողներ:

Ընդունելության մասնակիցներին ողջույնի խոսքով դիմել են ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան Տիգրան Սարգսյանն ու ԼՂՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Կարեն Միրզոյանը: Իր ելույթում Կարեն Միրզոյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության և Արցախին ցուցաբերվող աջակցության համար և ընդգծել ազգային հավաքական միասնականության կարևորությունն ադրբեջանա-ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում:
