Քաղաքագետ Հայկ Մարտիրոսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․

«Հուլիսին Տավուշում զոհեր ունեցանք, ծանր մարտեր եղան, մեծ աղմուկ բարձրացավ: Յոթանասուն հոգի մարտական խաչ ստացավ, մեկ հոգի` Ազգային հերոս: Եվ այդպես էլ անհասկանալի մնաց թե ի՞նչ էին այդ մարտերը, ի՞նչ տեղի ունեցավ, ինչպե՞ս և որ ամենակարևորն է` ինչու՞: Իրականում ի՞նչ էր տեղի ունեցել: փաշինյանի հրամանով հայկական զինուժը զբաղեցրել էր մի դատարկ բլուր, որ ադրբեջանցիներն էին զբաղեցնում, ընդ որում` սեզոնային սկզբունքով: Ու երբ հետ էին եկել իրենց դիրք` ՈւԱԶ-ով, հայտնաբերել էին, որ այնտեղ հայեր են: Ու քանի որ ադրբեջանցիները իրական ոչմիթիզհողական են` որոշեցին այն հետ վերցնել:

Իհարկե ոչմիթիզհողականի կեղծ իմիջ կառուցող փաշինյանի համար դա ալիբի էր` հանցարդարացում և նա հրամայեց մեր ուժերին ամեն գնով պահել դիրքը:
Ինչու՞: Որպեսզի համոզի իր ժողովրդին թե ինքը ոչմիթիզհողական է, ոչ մի թիզ հակված չէ տալու թշնամուն, ազատագրող է և այլն:
Միևնույն ժամանակ մի դատարկ բլրի համար վճարված ծանր գինը վերածեց մեծ փիառ ակցիայի` Սարդարապատում պարգևատրումներ բեմադրելով:
Ընդ որում դա հատուկ այնպես արեց, որ Բաքվում դա ներկայացնեն որպես սեփական ստորացում և հայերի դեմ ռևանշը դառնա հանրային անքննելի և անհետաձգելի պահանջ:
Իհարկե, ակնհայտ է, որ այս ամենն արվեց Բաքվի հետ գաղտնի համաձայնությամբ և կոորդինացմամբ:
Հիմա գյուղեր, դաշտեր, սարեր ու բլուրներ է տալիս: Առանց մի մարտի, առանց զինվորների իսկ ներկայության: Անգամ չի տալիս: Պետության կանխածրագրված և Բաքվից պատվիրված բացակայությամբ` հրավիրում է գալ և վերցնել այն ամենն` ինչ ուզում են:
Մինչ տավուշյան մի բլրի համար կյանքեր զոհեց` դա ներկայացնելով որպես ազգային անվտանգության և ազգային արժանապատվության խնդիր` նոր, ապօրինի սահմանի երկայնքով անվերադարձ կործանվում է թե´ ազգային արժանապատվությունը և թե´ ազգային անվտանգությունը:
Մանրակրկիտորեն մշակված դավաճանության պրիմիտիվ մի սցենար: Սցենար, որ աշխատեց:
Սցենար, որին ժողովուրդն այդպես էլ անհաղորդ մնաց:
Եվ դեռ մնալու է»։
