Հույն ձկնորսների, ինչպես նաև Հունաստանի և Թուրքիայի առափնյա պահպանության ծառայությունների միջև տեղի ունեցած միջադեպը մեկնաբանել է Կալիմնոսի քաղաքապետ Դիմիտրիս Դիակոմիչալիսը, հայտնում է greekcitytimes.com լրատվական գործակալությունը: Միջադեպին բացի հույն քաղաքապետից անդրադարձել է նաև Թուրքիայի առափնյա պահպանության ծառայությունը:

Հույն քաղաքապետը հայտնել է, որ միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել Աստվածահայտնության տոնի առավոտյան, երբ հույն ձկնորսները մոտեցել են Իմիայի ափերին՝ ծովախեցգետնի որսի նպատակով:

Համաձայն քաղաքապետի մեկնաբանության՝ Թուրքիայի առափնյա ծառայության նավերը ներխուժել են հունական ջրային տարածք, ինչից հետո հունական առափնյա պահպանության ծառայության ակտիվացել է: Դրա հետևանքով երկու կողմերի միջև «բախում» է սկսվել՝  հունական նավի վնասվելու պատճառ դառնալով:

Անդրադառնալով միջադեպին՝ Թուրքիայի առափնյա պահպանության ծառայությունը հայտարարություն է տարածել, որում ասվում է. «Հունական նավերը, որոնք սահմաններ չունեն և անօրինական ներգաղթյալներին անընդհատ հետ են մղում Թուրքիայի տարածքային ջրեր` խախտելով միջազգային իրավունքը, այս անգամ վտարվեցին Թուրքիայի տարածքային ջրերից»:
Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է լրատվական գործակալությունը, սա նմանատիպ առաջին դեպքը չէ:

«Հունաստանի Առևտրային նավատորմի և կղզիների քաղաքականության նախարարությունը և Հունաստանի առափնյա պահպանության շտաբը, իրավասու մարմինների հետ համագործակցությամբ, կշարունակեն վերահսկել տվյալ տարածքը՝ երկրի ինքնիշխան իրավունքները պաշտպանելու համար», - նշված է Հունաստանի Առևտրային նավատորմի և կղզիների քաղաքականության նախարարության պատասխան հայտարարության տեքստում:
