Ադրբեջանի նախագահը և իշխանության մյուս մարմինները] ողջ հայ ժողովրդի ու Հայաստանի բնակչության մասին խոսում են էթնիկ զտումների ու ցեղասպանության բացահայտ սպառնալիքներով: Այս մասին գրել է ՀՀ ՄԻՊ Արման Թաթոյանը։
«Նրանք բացահայտ վիրավորում են հայ ժողովրդի արժանապատվությունը, հրահրում են թշնամանք և դա անում են աշխարհում յուրաքանչյուր հայի, Հայաստանում ապրող յուրաքանչյուր մարդու անձնական արժանապատվությունը նվաստացնելու նպատակով:
Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի մշտադիտարկումը հաստատում է, որ խոսքը հայերի նկատմամբ պետական բարձր մակարդակով խորքային ատելության ու թշնամանքի քաղաքականության մասին է: Այն կրում է ինստիտուցիոնալ բնույթ ու հիմքում ունի էթնիկ, իսկ առանձին դեպքերում՝ նաև կրոնական պատկանելիությունը:
Միշտ պետք է հաշվի առնել նաև Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի նախագահների կողմից Արցախում 2020թ. սեպտեմբեր-նոյեմբեր ամիսների պատերազմի համեմատությունները Օսմանյան կայսրությունում Հայոց ցեղասպանության, Բաքվում հայերի զանգվածային ջարդերի հետ՝ օրինակ 2020թ. դեկտեմբերի 10-ի ելույթներով դրանց կազմակերպիչներին ու կատարողներին, այդ թվում՝ Կովկասյան իսլամական բանակի անդամներին գովերգելը:
Սկզբունքային հարց է, որ այս պատերազմի ընթացքում հայկական կողմի զինվորականներին ու քաղաքացիական անձանց խոշտանգելիս, կենդանի վիճակում գլխատելիս, զոհվածների մարմիններն անարգելիս ու այլ վայրագություններ կատարելիս ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի ծառայողներն օգտագործում են հենց այն նույն բառերն ու արտահայտությունները, ինչ Ադրբեջանի նախագահը:
Ավելին, Ադրբեջանի նախագահի ու այլ հանրային գործիչների արտահայտությունները դարձել էին այս պատերազմում հայերի նկատմամբ դաժանությունները ոգեշնչող կարգախոսներ (օրինակ՝ «ադրբեջանական զինվորները քշում են նրանց ինչպես շներին», «Հայաստանն արժեք չունեցող երկիր է…այն ադրբեջանական հինավուրց հողերի վրա ստեղծված արհեստական պետություն է», «Ադրբեջանը գալիս է վերջ տալու հայկական հարսանիքներին» և այլն):
Այսինքն՝ ակնհայտ է, թե որոնք են պատերազմական այդ հանցագործությունների իրական պատճառները:
Ավելին, այդ ադրբեջանական զինվորականները հպարտանում են վայրագություններով՝ ակնհայտ իմանալով, որ դրա համար իրենց երկրում միայն խրախուսվելու են ու արժանանալու են գովասանքի:
