1944-ին Բրետոն Վուդյան դրամական համակարգի ստեղծման քաղաքական մոտիվներից մեկը նրա գիտակցումն էր, որ առաջին համաշխարհայինից հետո տնտեսական խնդիրների լուծման ձախողումն էր, որ հանգեցրեց երկրորդ համաշխարհայինին: Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է Պետական կառավարման մասնագետ Հովհաննես Ավետիսյանը:

Արդյունքում, դարձել ենք ռեսուրս պետություն այլոց ձեռքում և մեզ մաշացնելու են այնքան մինչև դադարենք որպես պետություն գոյություն ունենալ: Սկզբում մաշացումը լինելու է տնտեսապես, իսկ հետո պատերազմով: Եվ այս պտույտը շարունակաբար կրկնվելու է, մինչև ավարտվենք: Առաջին պտույտը արդեն եղավ: Հիմա հաջորդի մեջ ենք մտել: Սրան ասում են նաև հոռի շրջան:
Եթե այս գիտակցությունը ունեցողներ կան, իմացեք, որ իրար հետ անելիք ունենք: Եթե չկան կամ շատ քիչ ենք, պետությունը առաջիկա 1-2 տասնամյակում կդադարի: Սա պեսիմիզմ չէ, սա կոչվում է իրատեսություն»,- գրել է նա:
