««Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը տեղեկացավ, որ իշխող «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցությունը խորհրդարանական Մարդու իրավունքների և հանրային հարցերով մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանին պաշտոնից հեռացնելուց հետո այժմ աշխատանքներ է սկսել ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Ար­ման Թաթոյանի դեմ:

Հաճախ իշխանական խմբակցության պատգամավորները գրառումներ են անում կամ խոսում Թաթոյանի կողմնակալության մասին, փորձում նրան մեղադրել Հայաստանի շահերի դեմ գործելու մեջ: Բանն այն է, որ հատկապես նոյեմբերի 9-ի հայտնի եռակողմ հայտարարությունից հետո Արման Թաթոյանը միակ պետական պաշտոնյան է, որը հաճախ է խոսում իշխանությունների սխալներից, և այդ հանգամանքը թերևս վերջիններիս դուր չի գալիս: Իշխանական խմ­բակցությունը Արդարադատության նախարարության հետ համատեղ փորձում է հասնել նրան, որ վերջինս ինքնակամ հրաժարական տա, հեռանա:

Ի՞նչ է մտածում այս առնչությամբ Թաթոյանը: ՄԻՊ-ից հայտնեցին. «Նման խոսակցություններ չենք մեկնաբանում»: Նշենք, որ Թաթոյանը օմբուդսմեն էր ընտրվել 2016 թ. փետրվա­րին՝ ՀՀ Սահմանադրությամբ 6 տարի ժամկետով, այսինքն՝ դեռ մեկ տարի կա մինչև ՄհՊ-ի պաշտնավարման ժամկետի ավարտը: Իսկ, ըստ Սահմանադրության 193-րդ հոդվածի, Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի լիազորությունները դադարում են նրա լիազորությունների ժամկետն ավարտվելու, ՀՀ քաղաքացիությունը կորցնելու կամ այլ պետության քաղաքացիություն ձեռք բերելու, նրա նկատմամբ կայացված մեղադրական դատավճիռն օրինական ուժի մեջ մտնելու, նրան անգոր­ծունակ, անհայտ բացակայող կամ մահացած ճանաչելու վերաբերյալ դատարանի վճիռն օրինական ուժի մեջ մտնելու, նրա մահվան, հրաժարականի դեպքերում»,-գրում է թերթը:
