Հունվարի 27-ին Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան մարզադաշտի հարևանությամբ տեղի ունեցած ստուգատես-հրահանգավորումից հետո ոստիկանության ՊՊԾ գնդի, ՃՈ մայրաքաղաքը սպասարկող առաջին սպայական գումարտակի, ՃՊԾ բաժնի և ուղեկցող հատուկ վաշտի ծառայողներն անցան ուժեղացված ծառայության։ Նպատակը հասարակական կարգի պահպանությունն ու ճանապարհային երթևեկության անվտանգության ապահովումն էր, ինչպես և հանցագործությունների կանխումն ու բացահայտումը։ Այս համատեքստում ուժեղացված ծառայության դուրս եկած ոստիկաններն ակտիվ համագործակցեցին տարածքային ստորաբաժանումների քրեական հետախույզների հետ։ Ուժեղացված ծառայության շրջանակներում պրոֆիլակտիկ բնույթի այցեր են կատարվել քրեական ենթամշակույթ կրող անձանց հնարավոր հավաքատեղիներում։ Ապօրինի թմրաշրջանառության վերաբերյալ ստացված օպերատիվ տվյալների իրացման արդյունքում հայտնաբերվել ու ոստիկանության Մալաթիայի բաժին և Ավանի բաժանմունք բերման են ենթարկվել մի շարք անձինք։ Անձնական խուզարկություններով նրանց մոտից հայտնաբերվել են տարբեր քաշերով մարիխուանայի նմանվող զանգվածներ։ Ուժեղացված ծառայության ընթացքում հասարակական կարգի խախտման դեպքեր չեն արձանագրվել։ Արդյունավետ էին նաև ճանապարհային երթևեկության անվտանգության ապահովմանն ուղղված միջոցառումները, որոնց շնորհիվ հայտնաբերվեց ՃԵԿ խախտման 250-ից ավելի դեպք։ Պահպանվող հատուկ տարածք տեղափոխվեց 25 տրանսպորտային միջոց։ Հայտնաբերվեց հետախուզման մեջ գտնվող՝ 16, փոխարինված համարանիշերով և առանց համարանիշերի մեքենաներ, առանց ԱՊՊԱ պայմանագրի՝ 14, թաղանթապատված դիմապակիով 39 տրանսպորտային միջոց։ Երեք անձ էլ մեքենան վարում էր առանց վարորդական իրավունքի վկայականի։ Ոստիկանության տարբեր ստորաբաժանումների համատեղ  ուժեղացված ծառայությունները պարբերական են։
