Քննիչները Փարիզի ահաբեկչություններն իրականացրած Աբդելհամիդ Աբաուդայի հեռախոսի մեջ հայտնաբերել են Բիրմինգհեմի հանրային վայրերի լուսանկարներ, ինչը վկայում է, որ ահաբեկիչն Անգլիայում ևս թիրախներ է ընտրել ահաբեկչական գործողությունների համար: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ' ինչպես տեղեկա ցնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն, այս մասին գրում է Daily Mail-ը:
Ըստ աղբյուրի, լուսանկարների հեղինակն ամենայն հավանականությամբ Աբաուդն է, և դա վկայում է այն մասին, որ նա մուտք է գործել Մեծ Բրիտանիա, չնայած այն բանին, որ միջազգային հետախուզման մեջ էր գտնվում մինչև Փարիզի ահաբեկչությունը, որը 130 մարդու կյանք խլեց: Քննությունը չի բացահայտում, թե Բիրմինգհեմի որ վայրերն են լուսանկարներում, սակայն այդ լուսանկարները վկայում են ահաբեկչի սահմռկեցուցիչ ծրագրերի մասին: Ինչպես նշում է պարբերականը, Բիրմինգհեմում, որտեղ ապրում է մոտ երկու միլիոն մարդ, կան մեծ առևտրային կենտրոններ, սպորտային հրապարակներ' ներառյալ մարզադաշտերը:
Բիրմինգհեմի շրջանում վերջերս հակաահաբեկչական լայնամասշտաբ գործողություններ են իրականացվել այն բանից հետո, երբ տեղեկատվություն է ստացվել մի քանի կասկածյալներրի մասին, ովքեր քաղաք են եկել Սիրիայից և ցանկանում էին անդամակցել «Իսլամական պետությանը»: Հետաքննության արդյունքում մի քանի մարդ ձերբակալվել է:
